How short sighted of nasa though, to think that water equals life.
for all we know there could be sea monsters swimming on the sun right now.
Having evolved from comet fragments to fit their own particular geology.

Hey, Blood, did you know that the sun is so hot, everything on it is a gas? This includes nickle, copper, iron, and many others.
Yep -that's about it -- if the sun was cool enough for water, and not quite so dense, then yes, sea monsters might be possible!
Evolved from... comet fragments? That alone is worth a giant WTF, leave alone the whole "on the Sun" thing. Oh, and by the way, liquid water does not automatically mean life exists wherever the water is found, but it does increase the likelihood by an incredible margin (at least for life as we know it).
So don't delay, act now, supplies are running out
Allow, if you're still alive, six to eight years to arrive
And if you follow, there may be a tomorrow
But if the offer is shun you might as well be a sea monster on the sun
Coffee's onto something.

I bet BloodoftheLamb was the author of this junk email poem I got yesterday:

Sierra, if that's not Vogon poetry, it will surely do as a good imitation of it. Its interesting rhythmic devices seem to counterpoint the surrealism of the underlying metaphor -- and cause great anguish in the reader.

Nice try, blood, but that was your entire post, and was also your only post on that thread. I see you had another enter key mishap, and I understand you have special challenges, but don't project your problems onto the rest of us.
I'm curious, if there's seas on the sun, does that mean there are pirates there too? I wonder what they look like. And if there's only pirates and sea monsters, who do the pirates raid? Do the sea monsters eat them, eventually? Do the pirates evolve from comet fragments too, or from the Moon fairies that landed there aeons ago? HAIL ERIS!
Maybe he thinks the Sun is cool enough for liquid water, even if it's the engine that drives the water cycle and causes water to evaporate on Earth. Wasn't there a song"Walking on the Sun?" You couldn't walk on it if it weren't cool now, could you?
head, meet desk. desk, this is head. you two get along now.
NO, desk! Don't fracture head when he slams into you!
The sun is made of just plain H (just hydrogen, bonding into helium), not H2O (the stuff NASA is talking about). Big difference. That's why there's no life on the sun but why there might be on objects in the solar system other than our own.
I THINK that he/she's not serious, but rather attempting to make evolution look ridiculous.
Or perhaps he/she's just insane.
So... water doesn't equal life, Bloodyhelloffyourself...?
Okay then. Stop drinking water, and refuse any food that contains any form of moisture.
Good luck with that theory, pal.
Confused?
