Honestly, what isn't a lie from Satan at this point? I mean, evolution, transhumanism, democracy, subjective morality... what hasn't been called satanic at this point?
By all means, exempt yourself from the services of all modern medicine and die young. After all, you are against using science to prolong ones life, yes?

I see it as that they are afraid that humanity can prove we can do a better job than their god. Which is hardly difficult.
Of course, this by extention would prove their god is obsolete.

Yes, because what has science ever done to improve the health of people? I'm just glad I was able to make it out of my 30's alive.

I keep waiting for the day they go after asexuals, aromantics, and non gender based sexuality. I suspect the only reason they're not a popular target now is because those particular orientations are more on the fringe.

If anything, NOT using our Creator-given intellect to improve ourselves (or at least create the option) because of throwbacks like yourself is the work of a destructive and vile force.
well technically if you could live forever you could amass tecnology and power until you became the common definition of a god. then such a person, even trying half heartedly could do twice the job your old one did, thus demonstrating christianity defunct, imperfect and obsolete.

Oh sure, we could make him better than he was before. Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger. But there isn't enough brain power there to actually use it, so it'd just be a waste of 6 million bucks.
And we can't fix that, we don't have the technology yet.
