Daniel 12:4 told us knowledge would increase. Only in the last 100 YEARS of time have we developed the common match, ink pen or safety pin. From candles to lanterns to light bulbs to new forms of energy (combustible engine etc.). The last period of time (a little over 100 years) has brought us from the ox cart of the old west like the olden times of Egypt to modern planes and spacecraft. Today knowledge doubles nearly every two weeks.

Leviticus 17:11 shows us the life of flesh is in the blood. Something only recently discovered by science. There are 75,000 miles of veins and arteries in the body to carry the blood.

Many of the great scientific discoveries were inspired through the Word of God. As men who trusted God as the creator discovered an intelligent designer for the universe and pursued what he inspired others to write thousands of years before.

While the Bible is not written as a science textbook when it speaks on nature and science it is accurate. Only the creator could communicate this.

Daniel 12:4 told us knowledge would increase. Gee, that was really going out on a limb. But unfortunately the passage you refer to is about the End Times’, not a general statement. Leviticus 17:11 shows us the life of flesh is in the blood. Something only recently discovered by science. There are 75,000 miles of veins and arteries in the body to carry the blood. This was only recently discovered? I beg to differ. The jews were bleeding animals in the O.T., I’m sure it was a fairly early discovery that one needed blood to live. Many of the great scientific discoveries were inspired through the Word of God. Like what? You can’t just say that without something to back it up. As men who trusted God as the creator discovered an intelligent designer for the universe and pursued what he inspired others to write thousands of years before. Anybody who can take the Four Corners’ and To the ends of the earth’ and the earth is supported by pillars’ and hung in the sky’ with a firmament’ over it, and twist that into scientific proof that the earth is an orb in space revolving around the sun is a contortionist of epic proportions. While the Bible is not written as a science textbook when it speaks on nature and science it is accurate. Only the creator could communicate this. with a book written by men. Wow. That was the lamest argument I’ve seen in a while.

The life of flesh is in the cells. The Bible says the blood actually is the spark of life. While blood is necessary for life, it's just a delivery system for the living cells. The ancients didn't know that. They saw that when the blood ran out of a person, he died. Aristotle thought the brain was just a cooling organ. Saying the life of flesh is in the blood is like saying the life of a city is in its paved streets (instead of its people). Actually, while there are true cells floating around in the blood - mostly parts of the immune system, the working part of the blood (the plasma, platelets and erythrocytes that carry food, hormones and oxygen to the rest of the body and create clots to stop bleeding) have no living cells. Red blood "cells" have no nucleus or DNA and can't reproduce. They are manufacture, live for about 4 months, then die and are eaten by phagocytes, which recycle their minerals.

Cherry picking is the process all fundies use and are raised on in their churchs.
"this verse could mean something, but in context it doesn't, oh, I'll just use that verse and this one from another book and,,,,Revelation!"

It's easy, especially since you can reduce it to basics and still make a claim of forknowledge.
This one works with many Christians: They repeat it once they hear it:
"the Lord sent a great flood and only Noah, his family and gathered animals survived it. People would never know people could die in floods back then, this is knowledge that could only come from God"

If you can't see the pleading illogic of that you may already be a fundie.

I have found that whenever fundies just put in the numbers of the scripture instead of the text, the chances are great that the passage does not say what they say it means

While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.

How does that explain anything, let alone light? (And that is ignoring the fact that neither dust nor air “make light”.)

Daniel 12:4 told us knowledge would increase.

But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

The knowledge here is implicitly the knowledge of Daniels prophecy, which he is ordered to keep secret until the end of the world. Then the knowledge of that prophecy will be increased.

Well look at that, you managed to actually quote scripture correct, if incomplete. Aaaaaand you fuck it up immediately with:

Surely you are kidding, right? You cannot seriously believe that “science” only recently discovered that animals (including humans) die if they lose too much blood!

And what has:

There are 75,000 miles of veins and arteries in the body to carry the blood.

to do with the Leviticus quote? The quote is about how eating animals’ blood is verboten, not about anatomy.

So two out of your three scripture quotes are obviously false and you lie about the third. You are not only giving false witness, you are giving false witness about your own holy book. That has to be some major sin
