Is this why atheists, pagans, etc don't like us Christians?
No, this pagan doesn't like the fundies that shove their religion down my throat. With that said, one of my best friends is full=fledged christian and doesn't judge or prostylize me to no end.
They look at us, and see how we are.
Yes, I do look at fundies like you and think "God, what a pitiful person."
They notice that we don't do many of the things they do, like go to parties and get drunk, steal from our neighbors, have promiscuous sex, and cheat on our significant others.
Sorry, but this pagan doesn't do any of those things. I don't have the time, finances, or desire to do those things. Also, my last BF, who was a christian, did all those things you're accusing us of. I finally had enough of his binge drinking, stealing from me, his family, friends, and the promiscuous sexual cheating.
This makes them feel bad about themselves, but at the same time, they feel as if they are being scolded.
Sorry, I have a very healthy self-respect, and I do not feel like I'm being scolded. However, I suspect that you do feel these things.
The light that is our righteousness casts light upon their misdeeds, and it makes them uncomfortable, like walking into a well lit room after being in the dark for a long time.
Sorry, but you fail here. I'm very comfortable with myself, and very much at peace.
