The Bible educated the Constitutional writers/signers of the instability of men. This wisdom has enabled that document to guide this nation for 230 years. If we no longer understand this wisdom, we will slowly lose that Constitutional guidance..... One fact to remember. Prior to 1960, teenage violence and suicide was unheard of. A lot of things has change since those years.

"I can still remember good old Mr. Fender
Who ran the corner grocery store
Oh, he'd strolled down the aisle with a big friendly smile
And he'd say "Howdy" when you walked in the door
Always treated me nice, gave me kindly advice
I don't know why I set fire to his place
Oh I'll never forget the day I bashed in his head
Well you should've seen the look on his face
Let me tell ya now
Those were the good old days
Those were the good old days
The years go by but the memory stays
And those were the good old days"

The founding fathers were educated by many literary works outside of and superior to the Bibles meandering nonsense.
And even back then books bemoaned the behavior of youth, same as it ever was.
You people could try to research history instead of making it up sometime.
"Prior to 1960, teenage violence and suicide was unheard of"
... What reality do you live in?
Your generation isn't the first to complain about the "youth of today" I assure you.
Not to mention that "teenagers" is a fairly new thing for the most part.
The Founding Fathers had an Enlightenment education that included many things. They had also just fought a revolution against capricious rulers, so they had their own experience of "the instability of men." We might yet lose the guidance of the Constitution if we ditch the Enlightenment; for your part, you seem very keen to do so.
Teenage violence and suicide was unheard of before 1960? I suggest you read Romeo and Juliet ; as far as I know, William Shakespeare lived a while before then. While you're at it, you might also read Natalie Zemon Davis's brilliant article From Carnival to Charivari: Youth Groups in the City. A comparative study of late medieval and early modern English, French and Brabantine cities . You'll learn a bit about what changes and what doesn't.
A lot of that had to do with cars and the newfound freedoms teens had because of them in postwar America.
As for things like gang warfare and drug addiction that are conflated with your "teenagers are bad" view, those date back considerably before the 1960s, I'm afraid.
Prior to 1960, teenage violence and suicide was unheard of.
Ever heard of a young man called Werther and the effect named after the novel about him?

Only if idiots like you keep complaining about "unelected judges illegally making their own laws." We have the Supreme Court to give us constitutional guidance but people like you want to abolish it.
Prior to 1960, teenage violence and suicide was unheard of.
Unless someone's teenage daughter got pregnant, which she might try to kill herself.

The words 'God', 'Jesus' & 'Creator' appear in the US Contitution a grand total of... Zero times. If they were as 'Christian' as you claim, you'd have thought that they'd have thrown those words around in said document like confetti, would they not?
Perhaps the Founding Fathers had read the Bible - properly - and that's precisely why they didn't . [/Hosea 13:16]
First amenendment and Treaty of Tripoli. You fail part I: The Phantom Fail
If we forget your "wisdom" we will be far more free as our founding fathers would intend and be closer to Constitution. You fail II Attack of the Fail
Read a history book. Teenage violence happened prior to 1960. You fail part 3: Revenge of the Fail
Violence is going down statistically. You'd know this if you bothered to read the articles and papers showing this. You fail part 4: a New Fail
Countries that are secular are doing far better than theocratic ones. You fail part 5: the Fail Strikes Back
That's 5 ways you failed. In just a few sentences. You fail part 6: Return of the Fail
There is a tablet from, Summer or Babylon I can't remember which, containing a speech to the city council. Read out loud it's an hour of bitching about "kids these days have no respect". The more things change...

Yes, conservatives have become more willing to lie their asses of, for a start.
The Bible educated the Constitutional writers/signers of the instability of men.
Indeed. It showed just how destructive a single book can be to an entire planet.
This wisdom has enabled that document to guide this nation for 230 years.
As a secular state.
If we no longer understand this wisdom, we will slowly lose that Constitutional guidance.....
We do need to kno about people's instability, but I'm not sure we need the Bu¥Bull to do so.
One fact to remember. Prior to 1960, teenage violence and suicide was unheard of. A lot of things has change since those years.
