Yes, but modern agnosticism hasn't really got any great track record in philosophy and new atheism(prototype brexiters) ditto. What philosophy there is today is on secondary matters.

I wasn't aware that agnosticism, the lack of knowledge or the belief that something is unknowable, made any claims toward general philosophy. Atheism is simply a rejection of the single claim that a god or gods exist and also makes no claims toward general philosophy.

I'm tempted to go with number two, but it sounds a lot like the kind of thing that philosophy students bore others with at parties. Then they go home and wonder why people always seemed to be heading for the other room when he approached them for an earnest chat about secondary philosophy.
Looks like an excellent way of saying a whole bunch of stuff to say nothing substantive at all.

My experience with philosophy students at parties has been them saying completely whackadoo shit, or pretending to be completely different from who they actually are, just to see how you react. But also very much that last bit.
Who the fuck cares. Like religion adherence to a philosophy doesn't in anyway support it's trueness. There are plenty of philosophies built on Agnostic or Atheist bases, some even on Anti-religion bases and incorporating realist aspects therein.
But of course being religious he dismisses them all. Another victim of the W. L. Craig philosophical assertion based entirely on suppositional bullshit (One must believe there is a God (Christian God of the Bible) any philosophy that agrees with that must be true). Unfortunately Craig is their creationist philosophy poster boy and you'll find many here parroting his bullshit regularly.
