And here's where you show that you know LITERALLY NOTHING about what's happening. The three boys were kidnapped, and the Israeli government and the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank cooperated on finding them. Then the boys were found dead. Out of some form of revenge, a group of far right extremists in Israel kidnapped a Palestinian boy and burned him to death. The Palestinians in Gaza rioted in response. Hamas, using that murder as their excuse, started lobbing rockets into Israel, so Israel responded.

For further proof, Hamas began launching rockets at Ashkelon in Israel on July 3rd, a day after the body of the boy was discovered in Jerusalem. However, Hamas had been lobbing rockets at Israel for indeterminate reasons all through June without Israel responding in kind. Want proof for that?

And you saying, "Oh, I actually don't like Hamas."
