Abortion rulings are all purely political. It's obvious that the practice is evil and immoral. All pregnant women should be forced to carry to term no matter what the circumstance. No exceptions for age, health, circumstances of conception, or anything. Any woman found to have aborted her child should be charged with murder and put to death along with any one who assisted her in her crime. Also, adoption and abandonment should not be options for unwanted children either. Mothers should be forced to raise their child and take care of it as they are the natural mother and can provide it with better care than anyone else. A child has an absolute right to be born and raised by its mother. Just like with child support, the rights of the child supersede any rights of the mother. End of story.

should be forced, should be forced...
I bet Jesus would agreee, totally! He was all about forcing people to do the right thing. Screwball.
"Mothers should be forced to raise their child and take care of it as they are the natural mother and can provide it with better care than anyone else."
Umm... no, someone who desires to be a parent can provide IT (yeah, a fetus is a person, but all referenced are with the word IT!!) with better care than the birth mother (well, in this case).
I agree with elia. We should also do DNA testing to find the father, castrate him so he can't make any more children, and confiscate 95% of his earnings for the rest of his life to support this child. If the father dies prematurely, sell his organs on ebay.
"Abortion rulings are all purely political"
And should be. The religious alternative is not a valid one, at least for us.
"Mothers should be forced..."
What about fathers? Last time I checked, two were necessary to make a baby.
No one brought up the situation of a woman,or girl, being raped, then forced to raise the child of her rapist.
Do they still believe it's the woman's fault when a rape occurs?
What compassion...
Okay, Lets Recap on Fundies:
God gave us free will, which we used for evil and to betray him.
Since this diety gave us free will, we each choose our own path whether it be "righteous" or not.
And the people who preach both God and Free will want to force me to carry a baby to term even if the delivery will kill both of us? Yay free will. :( NLOL.
"Also, adoption and abandonment should not be options for unwanted children either. Mothers should be forced to raise their child and take care of it as they are the natural mother and can provide it with better care than anyone else."
Do you have any idea how many f*cked up children were in my hometown as a result of being raised by tweeker parents? There use to be a couple in my apartment complex that were so tweeked out, their son almost drown one day, thank your choosen diety the manager found the boy.
I'm glad I was adopted out. My woman that bred me was the last person who deserved to have children. Personally I think she should have had an abortion, but she didn't, and I was subsequently adopted out. The ones she kept are so many shades of messed up, it's just sad... She got them hooked on drugs as children to make them easier to control.
Well, no idea where the original poster hails from, but it would be quite the predicament if the US put to death every woman who had had an abortion - what would the stats bein on that - maybe a few million? The stupidity of such posts is astounding - what 1st world country is going to execute such a mass of people? Even if tomorrow, all the fundies took power - what would be the logistics of such a legislation?
And where would all the remaining, marriageable females of child-bearing age be found? Maybe Dubya and the fundies would have to launch a campaign to invade Canada.......oh wait.......abortion is legal on demand there.......
The rights of the child are equal to the rights of the mother. Not greater.
However, those rights include a healthy diet, an education in keeping with the standards of the child's society, and reasonable safety/protection from deliberate harm. Sometimes the only way to give a child those things is for someone other than his/her original parents to take custody.
Also, adoption and abandonment should not be options for unwanted children either. Mothers should be forced to raise their child and take care of it as they are the natural mother and can provide it with better care than anyone else.
Yes, that bevy of crack-whores down in the tenderloin district of my town are doing a bang-up job of raising a passel of trick babies!
P.S. I call bullshit on Elia's post. Nobody but NOBODY could be that stupid. He must be a troll just stirrin' the pot for controversy's sake. If not, he should be arrested and tried for conspiracy to commit idiocy.
STOP RUINING MY AND MY GREAT-AUNT'S NAME!
Seriously, it's a good name, stop flinging shit at it. You and my dad's mom would have gotten along well - she loathed me and my brother because we were adopted. I'd call you a harpy, but I think even those figures of myth would sooner peck your eyes out than be associated with you.
Why does the right of the child supersede any rights of the mother? The child might be female and might one day become a mother too, ya know.
What about the right of a tape-worm to stay alive?
What about the right of a tick to stay alive? A tapeworm or a tick is a much more complex creature than an embryo, and it actually has a nervous system, in contrast to the embryo.
Mothers forced to raise kids seldom do a good job, and the kid would probably be better off growing up somewhere else.
And what about the father of the embryo? Where's his responsibility? He's at least as "guilty" of the pregnancy as the woman, in some cases he's the sole guilty party. Why is not HE forced to raise the child?
My mother was forced to bear and raise me. She most emphatically didn't want to. I can assure you from personal experience, assbandit, that natural mothers are not always the best people to raise children... particularly children they never wanted, and subsequently blamed for ruining their lives.
Confused?
