But the sexual acts that are being celebrated & promoted on the float produce HIV. Talk about convoluted logic.

Were they having sex on the parade float? No, of course not. What was being celebrated and promoted was the commitment of two people to each other
Not sex. You are mistaken.
The point the people in the parade were trying to make is that a mature and public commitment between two people who love each other is one of the best defenses against HIV. I am a 53 year old gay man who lived in San Francisco from the age of 20 through 41 (1980 2001) and witnessed firsthand the devastation HIV had on the gay community. I made it through unscathed because I was in a committed relationship during the outbreak in the early and mid 80’s. My late partner died at the age of 29 in an aviation accident in 1987 and I was single for the next 11 years. 15 years ago I met my current husband (married in NH in 2010) and neither one of us has ever had an STD.
That is the message that the marriage float was presenting.
HIV is a virus, and it was not "produced" by sexual acts between two men or two women. It is transmitted through blood, semen, breastmilk, and vaginal fluid. Most HIV patients are in southern Africa, where in most cases homosexuality is illegal.

HIV is a virus. It isn't caused by having gay sex. Furthermore, gay people can still have sex whether they're married or not, so gay marriage doesn't "promote" gay sex. In any event, if you were truly concerned with the spread of HIV, you should welcome gay marriage, since marriage promotes monogamy.
I'm starting to think that Bible God's loving creation, HIV, is all part of His plan to create a worldwide gulliblocracy. That could be why He also created gays.
Also, that could be why He created HIV to be a retrovirus, because of His love of all things retro. It's probably a sign of Bible God's desire for us to return to the dark ages, with possibly a brief stopover in the fifties on our way. As well as being a sign of the impending Whooshfest!
By these signs, we now know that Heaven resembles a medieval paradise full of filthy disease, horrific mutations and ectoplasmic defects, virtuous torture chambers (as opposed to Hell's righteous ones), ignorance, superstition, and daily toil, for as long as God's light endures.
So no. The word you're looking for- as applicable to your own logic for that spurious idea of yours- is "idiotic".
Also, the sexual acts you claim 'produce' HIV amongst gays? They have just as much chance of SPREADING (big difference) HIV as do the sexual acts you force on the paperboy you've got chained up in your basement.
Sure, heterosexual sex can also spread HIV, but that only happens in Africa. And those guys are all darkies anyway, right?
