I think you should let them in on the fact that there are very few true Christians in the world. Those they look at as "Christians" follow their own made up god and they follow the flesh(hence affairs and divorces) so one should not base their judgements on what they see in these people because they are the same as the ones asking the questions. So stir them towards the ones that actually obey the Word of God. And also tell them that even tho we are saved by grace we will sin. But those who are truly saved are not alright with that and repent quickly.

"Nobody's a true Christian unless they believe what I believe."
The problem is that the people you label as not true Christians think that they're the only ones who are true Christians, too.
There are people on RR who are divorced, but they consider themselves "forgiven" and "saved." Why aren't they booted off the boards along with those sympathetic to GLBT people?
And, really? Repent quickly? Have you given away your excess? Do you become involved with the community and help the poor? If you overeat, do you resign to never do it again and go on a diet? Do you vow to go on an exercise regimen and stick to it if you're lazy and overweight? If you get angry with someone, do you vow to never be mad again and seek ways to repress feelings of anger? If you desire something, do you force yourself to think otherwise indefinitely? If you think you're better than other people, do you check yourself...? If you're all sinners 100% of the time, why can't a gay or bi person be saved, too? For fuck's sake being queer isn't even one of the "seven deadly." Oh, that's right, it's cuz they're "icky"...

Those other christians say the same about you.
Someone should invent a marker pen like the ones store clerks use to detect counterfeit money for use on christians, so it will be easy to tell the difference between real christians and fake christians.
Does god have a chain of stores where we can buy things like that?

Oh good. Then that means you'll drop the "how could 1 billion people be wrong", "this is a Christian nation", and "moral majority" nonsense then? Since, as you just admitted, none of those could possibly be true?
Yes yes, when you want to feel persecuted it's only you and the handful of people who go to your church that are "true Christians" but when you want to bully people with the threat of mob-rule style democracy suddenly everyone's a Christian and the minorities should just shut up.
It's one of the other it can't be both.
So, most of those who call themselves Christians are not Christians because they sin (ya know, affairs and divorce) but they don't repent as quickly as you and your friends so even though they are saved they are not Christians?
So I guess that's why genuine Haggis - sheep's stomach, liver, lungs, heart & all - has to be smuggled in from Canada then, for those in your country who want to celebrate Burns Night properly .
Oh, and didn't you know? You can't be a True Christian if you can't enjoy Kinder Surprise eggs at Easter. [/Pagan 'Eostre' festival stolen by Christianity]
(*Looks at "Tron: Legacy" lightcycle-esque motorbike & pull-back action 'Penny Racer'-type car on shelf, via the Kinder Eggs given to me by my nieces the other day *)
Curse those pesky US Customs officials & laws, eh?! [/snark]

- and repeatedly, no doubt.
So True Christians® are sinners and Untrue Christians are sinners.
Please provide a flow chart or a matrix so that we can distinguish the indistinguishable.
Please also look up "sanctimonious" in the dictionary.
So much for the whole Christian nation thing. Also even by your own theology
1) no person other than Jesus is without sin and fault
2) The rapture is not in the Bible
Oops.
Wouldn't it be nice to obey the Word of God, presumably Bible God. If only we knew what He was saying. So I thought I'd write a play about it.
Here's an extract:-
Scene. A street in Hicksville.
Bible God: "Hello Mr Hick, nice weather we're having." (Tornado gusts menacingly.)
Mr Hick: "Pardon? Can't hear a thing you're saying. It's all this bad weather and gusting tornadoes. You'll have to speak up."
Bible God: Shouts louder. "I said it's a lovely day" (Tornadoes twirl like whirling dervishes.)
Mr Hick: "It's no good. Still can't hear you. Sorry, I have go seek shelter. Bye."
Bible God: "Please don't go. I've so much to tell you" (Even fiercer gusts ensue.)
Mr Hick: "Aargh! Help! I'm being sucked up into the sky!"
Bible God: (to Himself) "Hmmm! No time time for idle chit chat it seems. I expect Mr Hick's too busy practicing for the big day, er...soon."
Winds blow. Tumbleweeds tumble.
Constant fundraising, whining, and involvement in politics is pretty good evidence that you're hung up on the material world, too.

There's another thread over at RR where some Raturites have taken to calling Easter Sunday 'Resurrection Day' to avoid using the name of the 'false goddess' Eostre.

Hmm. Sounds like being saved by grace hasn't improved your character much if you keep right on sinning. What's it good for again?
The judgement is strong in this one. And as we all know, Christians are not allowed to judge. Jesus demonstrated this clearly - Let him who is without sin...etc - Whis is without sin but God alone....
Look to your own sin and soul, Jackie!
Who are these people who "actually obey the Word of God"? Including the Mosaic laws? Including the ones which are obviously contrary to the criminal laws of your country?
As for the other point, if sin is inevitable, then how does it make sense to repent of it? How can you genuinely feel sorry for something that you did that was in fact outside your control?
Yo, Raptards?
Book of Revelations.
ONLY 144,000 virginal male Jews are going to be saved.
So either the Book isn't the guide, or you're damned.
Have a nice day.
@Filin De Blanc
"Um, weren't you guys all for the prospective presidency of divorcee John McCain when the alternative was never-divorced family man Barack Obama?"
Many on RR were all but sacrificing their firstborn on the platform of Newt Gingrich, pre-Romney's nomination. The latter married only once, yet Gingrich is a multiple divorcee. He even considered himself more 'normal' than Mitt, because he HAD been divorced so many times.
Such are the warped 'morals' of right-wing fundies. To the extent that hypocrisy is a good thing. Doubleplusgoodthink indeed, Ruptured retards.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
