Evolution was already put on trial, decades ago, it won, creationism lost, get over it.
That only works when you IGNORE all of the evidence for evolution, and twist some of the evidence against creationism with some redefinitions or all-out fallacies (with a touch of blind faith) into "evidence for it".
evolution answers a big part of where we came from (and there is lots of evidence to support it) wheras intelligent design is just the church's pathetic excuse to claim evolution as its own, and even if it were true, it wouldnt answer anything, it only raises an even bigger question "who designed god".

It's odd how there is this mountain of evidence against evolution that only fundamentalists seem to know about. Why has none of it ever been submitted to any reputable science journals for peer review or publication? Is it because of the worldwide anti-creationist conspiracy? Oh, my! Those poor poor people!
