I pray that you may see the light one day, and realize that homosexuality IS controllable, it is NOT part of who the person truly is, and it IS a sin in the eyes of the Lord. (And the Lord DOES exist.)

I hope that you may see the light one day, and realize that fundamentalism IS controllable, it is NOT part of who the person truly is, and it IS a delusion in the eyes of religious moderates (and the moderates DO exist).
I pray that you shut the hell up and let people have free will to be straight, gay, or whatever. If God does exist, and if he is in fact a loving god, then he shouldn't care if one is gay or not. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Christianity just seems like a giant contradiction.
Bullying, lie, lie, hatefulness, unfounded claim.
0 for 5, you lose! good day sir.

How exactly to you know all of this? Don't tell me about the Bible. It's mythology that self-contradicts. I want to know how you found all of this out? Are you personally a homosexual that has been controlled? If so, who is controlling you, and how did you get involved with this person/s.
Fine. Be gay. Just for a week, then you can repent, but if I can just be straight, surely you can just be gay.
Stop making a god of drums look bad, asshat. The real Peart is atheist, I actually know him:

I met all three members of Rush back in 2004 after my sister died. I got that info backstage thru a girl who worked for a Boston radio station, saw the show from backstage and got a ton of stuff. That autographed pic in the link above is a scan of one such gift.
I figured rather than just say it, I'd put the money where my mouth is.
nah, I made a concerted effort to be straight for like 5 years or more. Aside from huge amounts of stress, grief, and self loathing it didn't have much of an effect...well no positive effects. I wouldn't even wanna bother with it anymore; I already gave up 5 years and now have serious relationship issues. If it were possible to change your sexuality and it took that much time I dare say it wouldn't even be worth the trouble.
wrong
wrong
wrong
and
wrong
I pray that you may see past the end of your bigoted, religion-addled nose one day, and realise that homosexuality IS normal, it is NOT some kind of abomination, and it IS in no way a negative mark on a person's character, goodwill or worth. (Oh, and your God almost certainly doesn't exist. Go figure, genius.)
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
