I believe it in because it makes a lot of sense, it doesn't depend on nonreproducible one-time events [miracles], it doesn't invoke unnecessary extra beings, and we have seen it happen.
Well, if you are really a bible believer, what the hell are you doing posting on a site called "Rapture Ready"?
The bible never mentions a "rapture".
The whole rapture thing was an invention of a man, Mr. Darby, a hundred and fifty odd years ago.
The idea really took off, though, with another false prophet, Mr. Schofield, when he "annotated" a KJV bible, after stealing Mr. Darby's invention.
I said steal, because he give Darby no credit at all for pulling that particular false doctrine out of his ass.
Be honest, Solo, you don't really know anyone with any sense or brain power, so you're not really in any position to judge such things, are you?

It's not surprising, you're so wrapped up in your religious worldview you can't grasp others aren't.
Here's the big secret, we don't believe in evolution, we accept it based on the evidence and nothing else. It's science, not a religion, no belief is required.
I can't for the life of me understand how anyone with any sense or brain power can really believe the universe has only existed for 6,000 years. I mean, we can measure stars 170,000 light years away with a telescope and high school trigonometry for crissake! BTW, it's sola fide.
I was always curious as to why an all powerful god would nee dany sort of timeframe to do anything at all. If it took 6 days to create the universe and everything in it, wouldn't it be considered a greater display of power to do it in one day, or just one second perhaps? Why does an all powerful god have these limitations?

Because a book written by shepperds where they take for granted that snakes speak, that guys live up to 900 years and you can find a wife even if you're the sole descendant, together with your brother, from the first couple of humankind is not precisely scientific and believable?
