Jesus was a real histircal figure, Zeus was not.
Jesus was the incorantion of the divine logos
Zeus as pastiche of the Indo-arian sky father and verious sub metaterranian chieftans.
Jesus is eternal, Zeus is contingent.
huge differences.
Jesus gave his life for the world, Zeus had sex with a lot of women and never did anything for anyone (except in late antiquity but that was under Christian influence).

Jesus has yet to be proven to have existed, let alone as the avatar of God. You're also treading on thin ice, calling Zeus the 'pastiche of the Indo-arian sky father' when a fair deal of the old testament and the miracles of Jesus were taken from Babylonian, Sumerian, Assyrian, and Mediterranean legends.
By the way, how is Zeus 'contingent' and Jesus eternal while there are people still worshiping both?
Zeus is a petty, violent, and selfish dick. Unlike your God, however, he was never said to be love.
Comedy gold!
Please post more.
Jesus was a real histircal [sic] figure
So, you indicate you have extra biblical evidence, in that case [citation needed]
"Jesus was a real histircal figure"
If that's the case why is there no evidence of his existence out with the Bible? Rather strange, don't you think considering the Romans where pretty anal when it came to record-keeping?
The story of Jesus is just a retelling of the story of the Egyptian god Horus, they're practically identical. In fact, most of the Bible was plagiarised.
Jesus: Killed tons of people, claimed to be all-loving
Zeus: Killed tons of people, never claimed any kind of love
Zeus: More consistent than Jesus.
Jesus: No more provable than Zeus.
Metacrock: Pimpling Jesus on the interwebs since '84
Winner: Zeus. I hope you get hit by a lightning bolt, you fucktard.
Zeus was a real historical figure, Jesus was not.

Fixed.
Jesus was a radical preacher, crucified until dead.
Zeus is Mack Daddy in every way you could think of. He's roughly on a par with Vishnu, but Vishnu had so much prettier hair.
Jesus was a real histircal figure, Zeus was not.
Hysterical? Jesus was mostly portrayed as a non-hysterical figure, though he freaked out when the money-changers were in the temple.
Jesus was the incorantion of the divine logos
I'm cornfused.
Zeus as pastiche of the Indo-arian sky father and verious sub metaterranian chieftans.
Jimmin with the zim-zam! Frippin with the krotz!
Jesus is eternal, Zeus is contingent.
I'm pretty sure that's not how Moses sees it.

Zeus converted before the end? What about the rest of this Olympic gods? This new learning amazes me.
A dictionary would clear that problem quite efficiently. A quick study of proper English grammar would not be amiss.
Two things I am curious about. What is 'incorantion' and what is Zeus contingent on?
Man, this is going to bug me all night.
Zeus as pastiche of the Indo-arian sky father and verious sub metaterranian chieftans.
Which is why, in the Greek creation myth, the breath of Zeus moves upon the face of the deep (Tehom/Tiamat) before splitting it to produce the world, in a clear appropriation of the mythology of the wind/sky/storm god Marduk.
Oh wait -- that was the Hebrew prime deity. Oops.
Histircal- probably histerical or satirical
incornation- guess you mean incorporation
contingent- ? probably content, else... Damn, how do you call a guy that keeps his wives content? Contingent= guy with big...?
Suspicions that Metacrock is a Poe appear to be confirmed: this just turned up in PubAdmin:
"what computer? this is all done through prayer. I'm just having visions of what you say and I pray about it, and it turns up on this funny box."
I think that settles the matter.
Jesus was a hypocritical cunt, so was his old man.
Zeus in other hand, was a A-class deuche, however his father Chronos wasn't a such a bad guy.
A Megacrock of bullshit.
Horus, Mithra, Prometheus, Krishna (and many others) have pecisely the SAME history as your Jesus, except they PREDATE JC by 2-3 thousand years.
Also JC was only 1 of 35,000 other Jews who met exactly the same fate at the hands of the Romans, and is no-one special.
Actually, the stoics claimed that Zeus was the incarnation of the divine logos, an idea which probably went on to influence the author of the Gospel of John. As others have pointed out, while Zeus may have been a dick, he never claimed to be anything otherwise. I give him marks for honesty.
"Jesus is eternal, Zeus is contingent."
Umm... "American Gods" argument much? Excellent read, BTW.
- Histirical, incorantion, metaterranian...
- Help! I is misnotunderstanded the wurrds.
...Jesus gave his life for the world, Zeus had sex with a lot of women and never did anything for anyone (except in late antiquity but that was under Christian influence).
- So you admit Zues is real then!

Please, for the love off all that is good and righteous, proofread your crap before you read it!
1) No, the Jesus described in the gospels was likely not a real historical figure. It is possible that the gospel Jesus was based on a real person, but the gospel Jesus is probably not a real person.
2) I'm dying to know what Zeus did for anyone under Christian influence.
Jesus was a real histircal figure, Zeus was not
I'm guessing he's trying to say "hysterical". At least, that's the only way it makes sense.
Jesus was the incorantion of the divine logos
Incorantion? What is that? And what does it have to do with the philosophical concept of the "logos", or, reason?
Zeus as pastiche of the Indo-arian sky father and verious sub metaterranian chieftans
Ok, my translator is swearing at me and calling me names.
Jesus is eternal, Zeus is contingent
On what?
huge differences
That's not even a sentence.
Zeus had sex with a lot of women and never did anything for anyone (except in late antiquity but that was under Christian influence).
Citation needed.
Efrain: "What does Jesus have to do with corn?"
Considering he's just another vegetation god, like Osiris and Tammuz, dying and reborn every year, I'd say quite a bit.
Judging by the quotes on this site, Jesus certainly is the god of the vegetables!
Metacrock? Apt username.
Your post is a pastiche of bad spelling and baseless bullshit. Typos are excusable, but do you really think anybody is going to pay serious attention to someone who spells "incarnation" as "incorantion?"
At least I'm assuming that "incarnation" was the word your were trying to spell. It could have been "sandwich" or "deckchair" for all I know.
Confused?
