There is, of course, another angle to this. Halal meat comes from halal slaughterhouses which are staffed by Muslims. In the food outlets, halal and non-halal meat cannot be kept together because of cross contamination - so the non-halal disappears. That means fewer jobs in the industry for non-Muslims and more jobs for Muslims. In addition, some of the profits from halal slaughterhouses goes to the mosque - and from there finances further mosque building and even jihad.
This is not just about the cruelty involved - it is about the never ending Islamification of our country. And it is not just happening here, either - France has the same problem.
We should join Denmark, Sweden and Poland in banning ritual slaughter. That would at least be a start in the fight back.
