Finally! A moment of fucking honesty. God forbid you should have to do any good works, you might accidentially help out a non christian, and it's not as if Jesus ever said anything like "Faith without works is dead.", "do unto others as you would have them do unto you", or "Whatever you do for the least amoung you, you do for me.".
You want mail order salvation where you can sit on your ass and act as if you are morally superior to all those out there doing god deeds and helping other in the name of their religion. It frees you up to devote your time to promoting bigotry, intolerance, and hatred, all in the name of your "god" of course.
I only have to believe in His Atonement for my sins to make to Heaven.
What biblical support do you have to back up that doctrine, seeing as how that idea is directly refuted by no other than jesus himself.
Now you know why his followers are growing faster than any movement that has ever been on this planet!
Except that it's not the fastest growing religion, it's not even in the top 5 fastest growing religions. The prize for fist place goes to Islam.
