SEX BEFORE MARRIAGE? I think that problem is going to go on for years.

Hey, at least the puritans realized that horny teens were going to be horny teens (they had a little something called bundling), so I think they deserve a little more credit than the prudes that are around today :)
"it is better to know in advance as little as possible of the defects of one's marriage partner."
is this whole "sex before marriage" problem based on the archaic notion that people getting married don't know each other well? What is sex before marriage going to ruin? Where, I say, where's the harm?
The Puritans were surprisingly liberal with regards to premarital sex, although the expectation was that the couple would "marry" (i don't know how formal marriage was in Puritan New England). Sexual prudishness came along much later (1800's) thanks, primarily, to Victoria's England.
“SEX BEFORE MARRIAGE?”
Don’t mind if i do, thanks.

What problem?
Met a fellow sailor in Scotland, in late 84. Slept with her early in 85. Moved in together for 85, 86. Came back to the states, married her in 87.
Don’t see a problem, really.
Married for 39 years as of tomorrow.
Sexing for 42 years as of last March.
Kids are now 37, 32 and 32.
Confused?
