I've heard this line of thinking before: If Obama gets elected, the Military won't have it and will assassinate him. Guys I know who were actually in the Army (or Navy) say there's nothing to this, it's all in their overly active imaginations. In basic, you're trained to follow the orders of your superior, whoever that is, and it doesn't matter wheter you like him or not.
Bush should have been impeached, yet he wasn't, simply because it's too time consumingly difficult. It'll be hard to impeach Obama when he hasn't actually done anything as remotely stupid as George "Mission Accomplished" Bush has.
Actually, since you and your fundie friends seem so determined to remake our country in the theocratic style of Saudi Arabia, only with Christianity instead of Islam, then why don't YOU go to the Middle-Eastern country of your choice? Preferably one in which Christians are REALLY persecuted, so your martyr complexes will be completely fulfilled.
