[David Barton wins lawsuit against Texas School Board candidates who accused him of being "known for speaking at white-supremacist rallies"]
Its sure rewarding to see a Christian win for a change, Now its time to win on another point. All prophecy guru's will tell you that America is not mentioned in the bible, NOT SO! America is mentioned in 5 different scriptures which include no less then 15 verses. You will not see AMERICA in print but there is a common thread that links all these scriptures to America. These verses are tied together by this common thread and include the founding and the fall of America. You will find the founding of America in Daniel: Independence Day and the fall in Revelation 14: 6-12 and 3 other scriptures. for a look at these scriptures read a book "The Judgment of Babylon-the fall of America" simply copy and paste to the net.

While Barton may not have directly spoken in front of a officially self-proclaimed white-supremacist group he's certainly associated himself with members of such and the racist fundamentalist wing the Bible belt. But guilt by association is only applicable in America when Liberals are involved.
And if you can pretend you can find America in your Bible then you can find anything and unfortunately y'all claim you do.
Barton can be proved a liar and has been denounced by historian consensus for fake quotes, historical rewrites and ridiculous attempts at comparisons (hence the above "America in Bible" shit). He shouldn't be allowed to be connected to ant educational process except as an example of the habitual dishonesty of the Dominionist movement.
So let me get this straight: some white supremacist convinces a judge it's all about the free speech, so King Biscuit Boy let's us know it's a victory for clean living Christianity and then does twenty minutes on numerology in the bible.
Focus boy, otherwise we won't know what to mock you about.
Two words: prophecy guru.
I got a proper festive chuckle out of that.
Good to see WND staying true to form.
If Revelation 14: 6-12 is about America, then it is also about every other powerful state that ever existed. Do you condemn the Mormons to hell for their beliefs when they say that scriptural events happened in America? Because you're no different from them.
As for David Barton, this is a sobering reminder to be cool-headed and accurate in taking down his parahistory. Guilt by association may make folk feel good but it doesn't work in court.
David Barton's grasp on history: essentially the same thing as putting a fantasy book in the non-fiction section and then being all proud of "proving" it. Also, I'm not sure how winning a lawsuit is a victory for Christianity. I've won in court against a charge I had for a crime I didn't commit (a misdemeanor, yes, but still). Is that a victory for atheism?

So, in other words, those passages could apply to any country on earth, but you want to believe that they're talking about the United States.
What're you? A Mormon?
America ain't in the fucking Bible, fuckwit. Your god, Barton, is a lying sack of horseshit and intellectual dishonesty, masquerading as a scholar.
And BTW, the court was wrong in its decision - Barton IS known to have spoken at white nationalist and anti-immigration gatherings. He's a racist dickhole, and no amount of "conservative correctness" ("oh, he's just being politically-incorrect") can erase that.
Haven't followed this trial but I get a few impressions (any of these may be true):
A. Barton had "guilt-via-association", hence the charges were dumb.
B. Barton is a bigot and is very into speaking at W.S. events and the courts dropped the ball because....
* The school boards didn't have the evidence to show in court and did a crummy job in the argument department.
* The courts themselves are corrupted Barton-Butt-Kissers and the lawsuit was doomed from the get-go, no matter how good & thorough the school boards were.
I'm just surprised there is a school board in Texas that's sane...and if they're not sane, then Barton's a nutso even for them.
If it's the former, then it's proof that Texas isn't really populated by crazies (mostly sane people that NEVER BOTHERED TO VOTE!) and that THIS school board is one of the sane ones concerned about the new curriculum.
This just has to be a Poe.
On the other hand, I won't doubt for a second that Barton believes this (or is just trying to get others to).
Wait, wouldn't Babylon have to persecute the saints? Which kind of requires, you know, existing in the time of the saints.

Not only that. Shakespeare mentioned the US of A too. It's right there in History of Henry IV, Part I, Act II, Scene 3:
Whither I go, thither shall you go too;
To-day will I set forth, to-morrow you.
Obvious, isn't it?
Thank God for white, Anglo-Saxon, protestant, wealthy, ultra-conservative, gun carrying Christians, aka "real" Christians.
Christians tend to win a lot more than you like. It is damn nigh impossible for non Christians to be elected, every president, even your hated Obama was sworn in on a Bible. I'd love to see someone elected and admit the Bible means nothing to them. My god the reactions from theocrats.
AWESOME!!!
EAT IT, BARTON!!!
America is in the bible, can you read? Read the book at www.thejudgmentofbabylon.com and then tell me America is not in the bible. There is also another book that should be read at www.thewatcherslive.com There are a lot of comments here from people that would probably be called low information voters, Most people comment prior to having the facts. America is on its way to judgment and it is in the bible.
Confused?
