...yet, she - a devout Protestant Christian - had no problem with Darwin's image being on the back of the £10 note, as well as on the £2 coin & the reissued Darwin stamps in 2009, as she has final power of veto with all designs submitted to her for approval by the Royal Mint/Post Office. And as for said Church of England, which she is the head of, guess who they have buried & memorialised in their central place of worship, Westminster Abbey:

Considering the fact that they've compromised so much, but then even when Darwin's "On the Origin of Species" first appeared, the C-of-E openly admitted that much of the Bible was purely fable & metaphor; as in not to be taken literally, and welcomed his new - and potentially faith-destroying findings with open arms - and the C-of-E is still here to this day - then the only ones who are undermined are yourselves.
