I heard a preacher say that withcraft and demon worship activity is at the highest level between midnight and 3:00 am. This is often the time when our rest is disturbed from nightmares and worries about the future.

Something just occured to me: Why aren't these people even speculating that maybe it's God himself disturbing you with nightmares? After all, you don't know Gods mind and he's supposedly infintley more powerful than demons. Isn't it presumptuous to assume that it's the bad side giving you a hard time? After all, God has supposedly flooded worlds and had kids eaten by bears to make a point. You think he would stop at giving you a bad dream?
You know, it's interesting how Christians go out of their way to deny dualism, and yet ascribe to Satan an astonishing amount of power. They claim God has quite thoroughly laid the smackdown on evil, but to listen to Christian ideas of salvation, it isn't a smackdown at all but an incredibly tight squeaker.
Nope, seeing that I'm Druid, and am asleep at that time on a good night when I'm not studying my ass off for college exams, you fail.
A Christian preacher knows nothing about the real world or witchcraft, He lives in his narrow little life and repeats the same lessons they all do. There is NO real witchcraft or you'd see crazy shit going down all the time. Like you car being upside down in the morning or respected leaders pants falling down.

2. Or perhaps people get nightmares then because they are asleep? Besides, its not like there are less nightmares before or after that time.
Or it's just the time when most people have been sleeping long enough to enter the sleep phase that produces vivid, active dreaming.
Seriously, guys, read a fucking non-fiction book once in a while.

Coming from a bunch who just can't wait to their imaginary sky daddy to take them all away and punish every one who don't agree with him (that because, of course, he loves us all) is kinda weird to be worried with your future.
Does your preacher indulge in witchcraft and demon worship? How else would he know when it is practiced?
What has witchcraft and demon worship to do with nightmares and worries about the future. The two former are basically imaginary, and the two latter are very real. (The stuff IN the nightmares aren't, but the nightmares themselves most definitely are real).
