While I was being witnessed to I was scared to death of Hell! That worked out ok because I got saved as a result. To me now it doesn't matter if I was "scared into it" or not... I'm just glad that I am saved and on my way to Heaven!

In that case, can you explain me what Heaven is like?, or Hell, for that matter?, or how to make better straw men and a priori arguments?
I'm just glad that I am... on my way to Heaven!
...what?
This is the wrong section, but wherever you hide it it's still horseshit. Witnessed, saved, Heaven - same old moronic claptrap.
You could be "saved" from the tyranny of conditioned fear by understanding that hell is only a frivolous threat by humans, to coerce other humans. Also for elitism. For instance, you pretend to be above it while hoping that others suffer forever because of an evil god who tricks most people into that? It's different with things that are not death or eternal suffering wishes or threats; for instance I could point at ignorance and that doesn't damn you to an eternal suffering pit. Thus this fabricates a chasm between your cult and the rest of society, to manipulate you and likely to enrich somebody at your detriment. Unfortunately, the sacrifices you invest in the cult are likely in vain and your propaganda is a trap for the ignorant.
“While I was being witnessed to I was scared to death of Hell! That worked out ok because I got saved as a result.”
So the ends justify the means, you say.
“ To me now it doesn't matter if I was "scared into it" or not..."
Like DARE exaggerates the risks of drugs. To scare people straight.
And Mormons grossly exaggerate the risks of sex, to keep girls clean.
But time after time after time, we find that when people lose the fear, they stop avoiding the bad stuff. Mormon girls at BYU meet upper classmen who have sex without lightning striking and they go wild. People find out you can smoke weed and not shoot a movie theater, and try all the drugs.
If people become convinced Hell isn’t a problem, they’ll be free to try al lthe sins…
“I'm just glad that I am saved and on my way to Heaven!”
Yeah, never mind if the tactics were not sound, now you’re still afraid of Hell.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
