If, as the fundieists claim, there is no basis for morality other than their giant man with a long white beard who lives on clouds, why are prisons full of fundies but lacking in atheists? Could it be fundies have no guide to right and wrong? So yes there is a connection between fundieism and social evils. A good example would be Nazi Germany and the murderous sentiments Hitler espoused.
