That will change once we are the government.

Oh good, tevodak, it's nice to see that you all are finally admitting that you're no better than the fundamentalist theocratic regimes of, say, Iran.
What candidate do they have any hope of doing this with? I just saw the republican debates, and there is simply not a single one of them who would have this mentality. Even the avowed creationist, Huckabee, was irritated when asked a religious question. And they should just forget the democrats entirely.

Freedom is irrelevant. Self-determination is irrelevant. We are the Borg...oops, sorry, we are the government .Resistance is futile.
Scotty, your analogy is apt, even if it exaggerates. It appears that we have encountered an example of an early 21st century fundamentalist Christian. Due to the propagation of the fundamentalists' twisted version of this ancient religion, its numbers dwindled to the point where any Christian on Earth is ashamed to admit their faith leanings. Eventually, all religion became a secret matter.

"We"? You mean the toddler squad from Fark.com? I dont think so son, I really dont think so. Get back to making your "arts and crafts", running nations requires a bit more skill then photoshop-ing cartoon boobs on pictures of Hilary Clinton.
Theres a reason European countries abadoned religious rule, because they've had it, and everytime it was tyranical bullshit.
So do it, you ever manage it there'll be rebellion and you'll be put back in your place.
Because we so clearly live in a totalitarian state.
Sure, it can feel pretty close now and then when one party is in control of both the White House and Congress, but things generally right themselves again in a few election cycles.
Confused?
