"Taking offense has become America’s national pastime; being theatrically offended supposedly signifies the exquisitely refined moral delicacy of people who feel entitled to pass through life without encountering ideas or practices that annoy them."
How is this fundy? I agree! Whenever we try to uphold the Constitution, there are always a bunch of dumbasses out there who get offended and claim we're trying to persecute them.
"As the number of nonbelievers grows about 20 percent of Americans are religiously unaffiliated, as are one-third of adults under the age of 30 so does the itch to litigate believers into submission to secular sensibilities."
Oh. I see this is one of those idiots with a persecution complex.
George, dude... The U.S. has always been a secular country. It's true that religious bullshit has worked its way into our laws, but we're doing our best to rectify that problem. If you hate the United States and our Constitution so much, then why don't you move to a country that's more suited to your tastes? You might enjoy Algeria, Cameroon, Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, Zimbabwe, India, Iran, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, or any one of 70+ third-world countries. Sorry, you won't find any enlightened countries that share your views.
