freedom of religion... a religion is any story(s) that explain the origin of man. what are we teaching the youth of america in our public schools about origins? we are teaching them about evolution... which, i mite say is a joke, because ther is no solid evidence supporting a big BANG or primape ancestors.if we can teach children that religion in schools, than why can we not teach them about creation, as it is explained in the bible? if you want to talk about a theocracy, than we can talk about america... although we say it isnt true, we are a nation controlled by theories of evolution. eg, praying in school has been outlawed in many forms, yet the very text books we rely on for the truth are teaching us that we came from a form of 'goo'! who has the power there, the "religious people"? or those who disregard the truth of god and substitute ther own?

Man, religion doesn´t explain the origins of humankind. According to anthropology is a way to articulate our deepest basics of human life and typical doubts we´re concealed to answer. There is a lot of evidence supporting evolution, of course, and none for the Bible per se. And of course, from religion to religion the perspectives vary. You have missed up so many concepts that it is logical your kids get idiotised.
Let me dissect:
""freedom of religion... a religion is any story(s) that explain the origin of man.
True.
what are we teaching the youth of america in our public schools about origins?
So we know where we came from, scientifically.
we are teaching them about evolution... which, i mite say is a joke, because ther is no solid evidence supporting a big BANG
Excuse me? What about Background radiation? The expansion of the universe? The fact that we have come very close to seeig the actual bang.
or primape ancestors.
We came from pokemon now?
if we can teach children that religion in schools,
Only in religious schools.
than why can we not teach them about creation, as it is explained in the bible?
Because then you'd be breaking the seperation of church and state.
if you want to talk about a theocracy, than we can talk about america...
Which seems to be headed towards a theocracy.
although we say it isnt true, we are a nation controlled by theories of evolution.
WTF?
eg, praying in school has been outlawed in many forms,
Many forms? I think it's only group prayer and prayer that is coerced that are outlawed
yet the very text books we rely on for the truth are teaching us that we came from a form of 'goo'!
That's right, we came from goo. because that goo contained proteins and without those, you're nothing. Oh, wait, you're still nothing.
who has the power there, the "religious people"? or those who disregard the truth of god and substitute ther own?"
If you say the bible is the absolute truth, I'll smack you.
a religion is any story(s) that explain the origin of man
Incorrect. A religion involves worship of some sort of supernatural being.
As the rest of your post is based on this misstatement, it need not be further addressed.
Ah, in typical fashion, we see the fundie conflating evolutionary theory with the big bang (I imagine s/he also conflates evolution with ambiogenesis).
Evolution is about life forms changing into new species. Therefore, for evolution to occur, life must already exist.
The big bang is about the origin of the universe.
Would the fundie concede that for evolution to occur, the universe must already exist?
"Truth of God" = faith in an unproveable position.
"Substitute their own" = position based on observation, experimentation, data gathering, and peer review.
'Nuff said.
There is no 'truth of god', there is tons of evidence to support ToE, prayer being 'outlawed' in school is in line with the rules of our nation, not an attack on your religion which you are free to practice in your own home. If education in America is a joke it's because of half-wits like yourself that can't grasp the concept of proper grammar.
if we can teach children that religion [evolution] in schools, than why can we not teach them about creation, as it is explained in the bible?
if we can teach children that religion in schools, than why can we not teach them about creation, as it is explained in the Rig Veda?
if we can teach children that religion in schools, than why can we not teach them about creation, as it is explained in the Kojiki and Nihon shoki?
if we can teach children that religion in schools, than why can we not teach them about creation, as it is explained in the Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster?
Answers to all: Evolution is not a religion.
> a religion is any story(s) that explain the origin of man.
False. A religion is a system of faith and/or worship.
> we are teaching them about evolution... which, i mite [sic] say is a joke, because ther is no solid evidence supporting a big BANG or primape [sic] ancestors.
There are two errors in that statement:
1. The Big Bang is not evolution.
2. There is sufficient evidence for both the Big Bang, evolution, and common descent. (Sufficient? Understatement of the century.)
> if we can teach children that religion in schools, than why can we not teach them about creation, as it is explained in the bible?
Because schools are for teaching facts , not fiction.
> praying in school has been outlawed in many forms
False. What has been banned is school-sponsored prayer, the kind that alienates any irreligious individuals.
> yet the very text books we rely on for the truth are teaching us that we came from a form of 'goo'!
Nobody came from "goo". We came from other living organisms, which most certainly weren't goo.
Changing definitions of words, equivocation of unrelated terms, paranoid fantasies, and straw men of other people's arguments.

“freedom of religion... a religion is any story(s) that explain the origin of man.”
Wow, that’s a stupid and self-serving use of the word ‘religion.’ This would make EVERY SINGLE ‘how I met your mother’ story a discrete religion.
"what are we teaching the youth of america in our public schools about origins? we are teaching them about evolution...”
Which would be a unique religion in that one doesn’t have to stop being Christain to accept the science. Or any other religion.
"because ther is no solid evidence supporting a big BANG or primape ancestors.”
Except for all the evidence.
But you’d have to know that the Big Bang is not biology to understand the evidence.
“if we can teach children that religion in schools, than why can we not teach them about creation, as it is explained in the bible?”
Because that’s an atual religion.
" we are a nation controlled by theories of evolution”
We’re controlled by money and always have been.
"eg, praying in school has been outlawed in many forms, yet the very text books we rely on for the truth are teaching us that we came from a form of 'goo'!”
Because its’ not religion.
“who has the power there, the "religious people"? or those who disregard the truth of god and substitute ther own?”
And other religions might say YOU disregard the Truth of Ra and substitute your fake god.
Confused?
