What we have here— is failure to assimilate to the feminist utopia. Some women you just can’t reach. So you get what we had here these past 60 years, which is the way ugly bitter feminists want it— well, they get it. Careerist gogrrl spinsters who go to sleep and wake every morning with a shiver of doom running down their necks. Unhappy 130IQ cat ladies as far as the eye can see, staining their graduate degrees with hot tears.
I don’t like it any more than you men, but I will leverage it for my personal gain.
Blame flies in all directions, but the most obvious one. The Bitches of Feastdick whine that their feminist droids are unhappy because men aren’t picking up the slack in the domestic sphere. Androgyne, Inc. stockholders say that women worry more about the home life and we need to help them worry less by mandating various stay-at-office motherhood initiatives, like on-site daycare.
They flail and they flog their plush lush lies that protect them from the stone cold truth— the truth that is incontestable and harmonious and rooted in eons of evolutionary blueprint:
Men and women are happier when they abide traditional sex roles.
Reject biology, feel unhappy. It’s that simple. Work within the contours of your sex’s biology, and you will feel like a finely tuned instrument discarding cacophony and alighting upon melodious serenity.

Well, at least the men are. The traditional gender role for women is to shut up and do what they're told, right? So how are you going to know who's really happy and who's just following orders?
Besides which, I'm just sick and tired of living in a society where the happiness of one group depends on the oppression of another.
Reminds me of debates about the schools.
Boys do better: all is as it should be.
Girls start doing better: RED ALERT! RED ALERT! SCHOOLS HAVE BEEN FEMINIZED INTO BEING BOY-UNFRIENDLY!!!
Does anyone remember in the movie "It's a Wonderful Life" how George's wife (the vivacious Donna Reed) becomes a dowdy spinster librarian simply because George Bailey never married her?
I would have thought such ridiculous attitudes would be gone by now. Obviously I was wrong.
Traditional sex roles, you mean like hunting and gathering? Humans did that far, far longer than we've had a civilization. Lacking any records we have no idea what that division of labor actually was but don't let that stop you.
But let's not over analyze, this is all about you not getting laid isn't it?
Men are happier un traditional roles?, not Elliott Rodger or George Sodini, that's for sure. Se don't ignore biology, it's what gives women the IQ

"Where is she?! Where's Mary!?"
"You're not going to like it!"
"Where is she!?"
"SHE'S CLOSING UP THE LIBRARY!!!"

Okay, so from now on the eldest women will lead their clan in a matriarchal fashion and-
What's that? Oh you meant the traditional sex roles that give you the position of power, how silly of me.
Men and women are happier when they abide traditional sex roles.
ORLY? When why, pray tell, did women (and some men) start Feminism to begin with if they were soooooo satisfied with the status quo?
Riddle me that one, Mr. Fartiste.
Reject biology, feel unhappy.
Intelligent women, oppressed and bored by traditional sex roles, remain intelligent. Reject biology, feel unhappy.
Besides, I know a number of very intelligent women who are single who feel fulfilled in their work and their other interests, including their wider family. And your intellectual poverty means you wouldn't have a prayer with any of them.
@ Frank
Not only that but, as a librarian, she wears glasses. How does George not being born lead to her becoming short-sighted?
I wouldn't be happier. I find the very idea of sex to be kind of disgusting.
Are you saying that you want me to give myself to some guy against my will?
Are you saying that you want me to force myself to endure sex with him, even though I'd be miserable the entire time?
Are you saying that I should discard my education, my dreams , because of a lie? You do know that there have been plenty of matriarchal societies, right? And dominatrices are relatively common for a reason.
Are you saying that you know me better than I know myself? Or are you just saying that my feelings don't matter?
Although I have to admit, "The Bitches of Feastdick" is pretty funny.
Funny how my advanced degree isn't tear-stained but is in fact framed and I'll be traveling to Japan in less than a month to continue teaching.
No man, no kids, no cats, and I feel very fulfilled. You lose.
What we have here
is failure to assimilate ...
Aww, somebody watched "Cool Hand Luke" on Tele last night.

Ow, freako - ya got me...
Some women you just can’t reach.
Why do I have this feeling that you can't reach any woman?
men aren’t picking up the slack in the domestic sphere.
So, pick up the slack and you might actually get some.

Dammit! Another irony-meter!
Most couples thought they'd be more egalitarian than they end up being once they have kids. The way our society is set up, it just tends to end up that way. But a hell of a lot of us aren't happy about it. Also, people that don't fit your gender norms exist, and you can't deny it without sticking your fingers in your ears and saying la la la.
A feminist utopia is a world where it doesn't matter if you're born male or female, you'll have the same chances, similar treatment, equal salaries for equal jobs. Women are no longer taught to be quiet and useful, and men are no longer taught to suppress their feelings.
Where are all these ugly bitter feminists? Almost everyone I know is a feminist, and none are particularly ugly or bitter, but seem to lead happy, productive lives. Many do have cats, though, not just the "130IQ" ladies, but men as well.
What is "traditional sex roles", dearie? Men doing most of the sowing and harvesting, women doing most of the milking and churning? Both kinds are heavy and dirty jobs, and few then lived to see their 50th birthday.
@aebars & Juicifur:
Which is why I've suggested repurposing/renaming RSTDT into a general Bigots section.
But maybe it's not that simple, or not really popular with everyone else.

@OP: Biology has little to do with traditional gender roles, and plenty of men & women are happy ignoring those roles. In fact, the only people who are unhappy are male-privilege advocates who are upset that they can't force women into submission. Funny, that.
Confused?
