Deny. They choose to twist God's word and live in ignorance. They're no different from those who try to argue that Evolution is a scientific theory. - MarioFanaticXV on Jehova's Witnesses

Ahem... I started evolution. Seemed easier to just, you know, start life and then watch it do it's own thang...
So who's twisting my word around?
You know what? Fuck it!
*raptures all fundies to hell*
There... peace on earth.
Don't call, I'm masturbating to gay porn.
@ Tyler
I think the irony meter companies purposely make them cheap so when they get busted, you have to buy another.

Irony meters = planned obsolescence
The company that makes mine is owned by fundies. They sell them to us, knowing...
Naaah, what am I saying? Fundies aren't that smart.
Are they?
"They choose to twist God's word...
Where is this "god's word"? Not in the bible, certainly.
"They're no different from those who try to argue that Evolution is a scientific theory."
Just cos you don't understand it doesn't make it any less a scientific theory.
Yeah - changes in allele frequency from one generation to the next in a given population of organisms, as affected by genetic drift, gene flow, mutation, selection, etc..has absolutely no empirical basis whatsoever. Totally.
We now return you to our regularly scheduled talking balls of light and rib women programming...
Irony warheads. The trick would be launching them at the right time.
Or, disguise irony meters as bibles. They don't read them, so they'll never realize it when they take them home...hahaaa...carnage!
@ironknee
"I need an irony Meter that goes up to 11"
Mine goes up to 9000, yet it still couldn't figure out the exact power level of this one.
I was so pissed that my hair went all spiky, and I crushed it in my hand while shouting a stupid, overmade, unfunny meme.
Any physical theory is always provisional, in the sense that it is only a hypothesis: you can never prove it. No matter how many times the results of experiments agree with some theory, you can never be sure that the next time the result will not contradict the theory. On the other hand, you can disprove a theory by finding even a single observation that disagrees with the predictions of the theory. As philosopher of science Karl Popper has emphasized, a good theory is characterized by the fact that it makes a number of predictions that could in principle be disproved or falsified by observation. Each time new experiments are observed to agree with the predictions the theory survives, and our confidence in it is increased; but if ever a new observation is found to disagree, we have to abandon or modify the theory.
~ Stephen Hawking
Well there you go. Find one observation that disagrees with the theory of evolution and you'll blow that bad boy right out of the water. So far, nobody's been able to.
Never buy the cheap Chinese import irony meters. They're just a waste of money. However, you can lengthen the lifetime of your irony meter by installing a shunting resistor across the leads, but you'll have to recalibrate the meter by using the known value of the resistor. If you don't feel comfortable doing the work yourself, send it to a qualified electronics technician. I once knew a guy who did the work himself, and the meter fried when the radio played Alanis Morrisette's song "Ironic" (even though nothing in the song is).
Baptist: "If we all just believed in God, the world would be at peace!"
Atheist: "Okay, I am now a Jehovah's Witness!"
Baptist: "...If we all just believed in MY God, the world would be at peace!"
Jehovah's Witness: "Okay, I am now a Pentecostal!"
Baptist: "...If we all just believed in MY VERSION of God, the world would be at peace!"
Pentecostal: "Look, before we go any further, could you get your knife out of my chest, please?"

Denial. They are in it, and live in ignorance of Kitzmiller vs. Dover. They're no different from all other anti-Reality fundies who won't admit that - post-KvD - 'Intelligent Design' (a.k.a. Creationism by Stealth) is a scientific 'theory'.

Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
