sO WHAT YOUR SAYING IS THAT OVER TIME A REFRIGERRATOR WILL 'MORPH/ evolve' INTO A MICROWAVE?

Yes, that's right! Absolutely spot on! Aren't you glad we cleared that up for you?
For our next trick, over time your bible will morph into a huge pile of steaming shit. Oh wait, we've already done that one haven't we!
Last I checked, refrigerators and microwaves don't have the characteristics that make evolution of life possible: they don't reproduce themselves, and they don't have some sort of genetic code that can be modified and passed down with changes.
An analogy is only a useful tool in a debate when the relevant characteristics are shared. That is not the case here.
Without reading the thread, I am confident that that is not what the other guy was saying.
However, add a mechanical claw and a conveyor belt, and you've got one hell of an appliance.
Why would they have to?
Refrigerators are very successful at what they do. So humans fill them with loits of stuff regularly. Microwaves sit empty lots of the time and when they are given attention it is for minutes.
I reckon the fridge is the most evolved of the kitchen white goods. It is like the homo-sapien of kitchen appliances! Yet it evolved long before microwave ovens!
Fridges are closely followed by washing machines - also evolved before microwave ovens.
Now to the living room environment - TV's - need I say more. What about computers - the most evolved of the electronic stuff in the home. It can do everything - except keep things cold, cook things, or make them clean!
Wow the speciation of the domestic appliance! Each of them has found their niche!
I propose a theory. A theory of design, if you wish. In fact, I would go so far as to say "intelligent design." Yes! That's it! I propose that all of our appliances have been designed intelligently by a...a um...person who designs things?...no..a...yes! *snaps fingers* a designer! I will call him (gotta be a man) Creator! Yes...my theory. *Ahem*
All of our appliances are best explained by an intelligent cause. In other words, they were designed, intelligently, by a (the) Creator. They are simply too complex to have "evolved" through a process of "natural selection." I hope this clears it up for you all (all y'all).
Yep, it could, if it could make little slightly-different copies of itself that could, in turn, make slightly-different copies of themselves, and so on, and so on.

AUTOBOTS, ROLL OUT.
Yes. That's exactly what we're saying. We're so glad that you've finally got it! We've spent ages trying to explain this to creationists, and you finally understand. You're practically an expert. You must know a lot about evolution. I wish I understood evolution as well as you do. You must have studied a lot. You must have taken a lot of classes and read a lot of books on the subject. Your understanding of evolution astounds me! I've never seen anyone with such a clear grasp of the topic!
And the use of Caps Lock goes on to make you look even more intelligent. It gets your point across even more clearly! It's not annoying in any way, shape, or form at all!
No, but over time it will rust and rot to its base elements.
As for evolving. It's an inanimate object, ad since it doesn't have DNA, and won't breed, it's can't evolve.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
