It sounded like the moderator agreed with the Creationistic Squad. He went on and on about "what were you born as?", "what have you evolved from?", etc. One of the first thing you learn about evolution is that individuals don't evolve, species evolve. The Creationistic Squad were also allowed to go on and on with their arguments, and the Rational Response Squad were only allowed to answer shortly or not at all, before the host came with a new question.
The only thing evolving in an individual is the level of information and knowledge that the person has acquired. At least in some of us...
And who the hell has ever said that ducks evolved from crockodiles, or the other way around? They are both here today, so neither can have evolved from the other.
And how in hell can he say evolution never creates new species and then say "horses, zebras, donkeys". Hello, three different species there, going further away from each other every generation! A perfect example of species differentiating, stupid!
Thank Odin, that I was born in an enlightened country, where evolution is taught exclusively in schools. My ten year old niece knows more about the evolution than those two.
The issue of we rather atheistic countries being the most healty ones was interesting. Perhaps it has nothing to do with religion, but still, absence of religion does seem to benefit us, rather than the opposite.
Where were the closing statements of the other three? I only got Comfort's statement, and that was rather stupid. If I would bring a man from two hundred years ago, he would be a bit shorter than today's people, if it was a girl, she might start mensturating later than girls do today. Evolution at work...
