It doesn't matter if your a christian or not to get to heaven. All that matters is that you accept the Lord Jesus Christ in your heart and truly believe in him and that is all that matters. You don't have to be a Christian in order to do that.

Well, one could argue that some retarded New Age Esos may well embrace Jesus and don't regard themselves as christians...
For normal people believing in Jebus = Christian.
I knew they didn't understand words like 'atheism', 'fascism', and 'evolution', but 'Christian', really?
If that is true, why do you people have a huge list of things that, when done, sends someone to hell?
I mean, if I accept Jesus into my heart, I should be able to be as gay as I want, right?
In fact, if you are correct, I can torture millions of babies and still go to heaven, as long as I mumble to your sky-daddy.
"It doesn't matter if your a christian or not to get to heaven. All that matters is that you accept the Lord Jesus Christ in your heart"
Well, Jesus is God in human form. God is omnipresent, which means he's everywhere at the same time. Including the chambers of my blood pump. Thus I have Jesus in my heart.
"You don't have to be a Christian in order to do that."
I'm an Atheist. I have Jesus in my heart. Ergo, I'm going to heaven. QED.
Thanks for clearing that up!

Wouldn't that make someone, by definition, a Christian?
I... think... the point is "you don't have to be a practicing church-going Christian to get to Heaven, it's just the belief that matters."
Which is, actually, not fundie, but somewhat open-minded.
It's just poorly phrased, that's all.
Wow, so a Buddhist who accepts Jesus into their hearts would get in. Except THEY'D BE A CHRISTIAN!
Fuck is this what passes for intelligence these days?
On one hand yes FSTDT, a person who accepts Christ is Christian; however, there are people who accept Christ, even accept that he was/is related to god, but also believe in a crapload of other gods/forces and whatnot. This is not the meaning of this poster, but just throwing it out there. Belief in Jesus doesn't exclude belief in, say, Ganesh. Some people accept all gods. They're like extreme polytheists.
Yes, the point of Christ ianity has absolutely nothing to do with that Jesus Christ fella at all, does it?
That said, most fundies put a lot more stock into Paul than they do Jesus, so he may have a point...
You don't have to be a christian, just think like a christian, act like a christian, and believe the same things christians do.
But you don't have to be a christian.
This reminds me of a previous FSTDT post:
"That's not evolution, that's just adaptation through random mutation and natural selection."
Well, the old fart's a chaotic asshole, but the kid turned out all right. He got his good side from his mama, I guess.
"All that matters is that you accept the Lord Jesus Christ in your heart and truly believe in him"
That particular action is what defines you as christian as opposed to a member of some other religion, dumbass!
Seriously, what the WTF is up with all these religious discussions on gaming forums? I don't get it. Is there some sort of predisposition in gamers to be fucked up in the head or is it just a coincidence? Sorry if I offend anyone, but this just looks strange to me.
@observiNG
"Seriously, what the WTF is up with all these religious discussions on gaming forums?"
Exactly. You'd think that games of any kind would be the work of Beelzebub. And thus to be avoided.
My best friend is a (non-fundie) Christian. He plays RPGs. Has a huge collection of them too - including "Werewolf: The Apocalypse"*, "Call of Cthulhu" and... dare I say it?!... D&D !!!1111ONE111eleventyone1
*- His particular favourite. But then, he is heavily into wolves - RL, fiction, lycanthropes, you name it. Books, art, merchandise etc relating to dragons, too.
I know this has been answered before, but
WHY THE FUCK ARE GAMERS THE MOST FUNDIE?
It just never made sense to me.

"Slipknot2430
You're all a bunch of atheist fags who deserve to die."
First of all, I'm not sure if that's the real, original Slipknot2430 who left this message here.
Secondly...Last, but not least. Baby. I,for one, am not an atheist, myself. I'm a born again Christian. Along with the majority of other True Believers whose name's written on the Book of Life (and not gonna be erased easily or anytime soon. If ever.) But at least... I wouldn't say things like that regarding other atheists. As well.
Confused?
