It's vicious circle. Fundamentalists want to be full of hate and promulgate stupidity and bigotry. Atheists criticise them for being hateful simpletons. Fundamentalists decry the criticism and denounce atheists, as terrorists, for instance (see above). Fundies are criticised for being the inane morons they are. They then embark on a virulent campaign of contorted meaning. Atheists laugh. Apoplexy ensues. etc etc

You don't understand what terrorism means, do you?
Simply put, it is a tactic to make you afraid. When you declare your god's eternal torture as punishment for what you perceive as sins, you are using terrorist tactics.
The destruction of "things and bodies" is incidental to the terrorist's objective.
So, tell me again who the terrorist is.

Damn right! Terrorism is simply the act of causing terror and all religions that tell children of a vengeful god, hell or eternal punishment causes intentional terror in children and is therefore a "mental terrorist"

I really think "terrorism" is the most overused word in the modern lexicon, and mostly by people who don't know the last thing about actual terrorism. Unlike most of the people who witter on about it, I know what a long-term sustained terrorist threat looks like because those were the circumstances I grew up under. What we've got now is a handful of isolated incidents that are being used as an excuse for the imperialist ambitions of our governments.
Atheism isn't a religion, its a belief structured off of thought, logic and reason(all things that your "religion" disregards entirely). Ohh and the irony and the ignorance in that statement made me smile and for that I thank you.
We're not the ones who use psychological blackmail with threats of eternal torture if they don't read "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins, nor do we force Christian women to have abortions.
Nor do we start illegal wars because a nebulous 'creator' tells us to.
