Because the "man" in that relationship is most likely taking advantage of the girl. It is almost guaranteed that he would be exploiting her lack of experience, made easier by a culturally reinforced sense of obedience towards authority figures instilled in her. Then, factor in her lack of knowledge pertaining to sexual affairs, the fact that she has yet to form an opinion on sexual matters, that she has little ability to weigh the consequences of getting into such situations, and that she would have little to no way of fending off his advances if she wished to refuse him. The final result is that you do not have a partnership as much as a victimization.

Ok, see here's the thing. Option one is two consenting adults. Option two is one adult and one child too young to know what's really going on. Sorry, but your analogy isn't quite right. Option one hurts no one. Option two hurts a young girl. Hence I care about option two.

Comparing molestation of children to an act of love between two adults, regardless of gender, accomplishes nothing. They are not the same thing. A 10 year old is a child, not legally an adult, an innocent. Two adults make a conscious decision to do what they do.
Why do you have to attempt to compare apples and oranges? And why do fundies go off the deep end so often when doing so?
Because those two homosexual neighbors are more likely to be consenting adults who are in a loving relationship. The relationship between the man and 10-year-old girl is that of abuse. She is underage and he is clearly manipulating and abusing her. It could be compared to a husband beating his wife. I would care because he is abusing her. They're both heterosexual and they're both above age, but it's the simple factor of abuse that would concern me.
Child rape is quite different from a consentual relationship between adults.
