@Stewey & Jerky
St. Luke was a physician.
Deity works via doctors.
It's okay to pray for healing and send those healing vibes to people.
But prayer-alone won't do diddly. You need medicine.
Face it, Asa had a horrible aliment that even doctors couldn't help. It was his time to leave the Earth. It was his karma. It was Deity saying "Your allotted time in this lifetime is up. Time to cross over".
Thanks to the wonders of SCIENCE, King Asa, if he lived today, would be alive.
You see, Deity gave humanity brains, and to reject using one's brain, using reason & inquiry, would be an absolute insult to Deity. Deity would DEMAND that we study science and develop better medicine.
Deity is just there to provide inspiration & guidance. As Ben Franklin once said, "God helps those who help themselves". Deity is like a guru who tries to make the follower figure it out themselves. Deity will not mess with our free will and lets us do good & evil. Deity is very hands-off in that way.
Faith should always be paired with Reason. Without it, it's just superstition and leads to heartache.
The wall between Religion & State is there to PROTECT both and keep them pure & less corrupt. It is not anti-religion. It is pro-religion. It protects religion so it stays strictly a matter of faith, spirituality, prayer, devotion & love.
After all, "Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's and unto God what is God's."
- And you can't argue with The Man From Galilee on that one.
