Proofs are great, and evidence is great.
absence of evidence for Atheism is also evidence of absence of Atheism. Keep that in mind.

If one of my students ever turned in an assignment with a sentence as badly composed as this one, I would return it with "THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE IS NOT YOUR MOTHER, SO STOP BENDING IT OVER AND FUCKING IT" written in red pen across the top margin.
And the answer is........?. Just think. You´re dictating and imposing into others rules because some entity in the sky has told you so, an entity in the sky that we´ve never heard speaking or seen. Wouldn´t it be easier to live YOUR life according to it and leave the rest of the people alone?. That would be a good proof, not necessarily of its existance but that you´re a sane person and there are many possibilities it can be true.
if creation is real, the why isnt the entire population of the earth white?, i believe that adam and eve were, so that means if creation is real, so is evolution, bit of a catch 22 there
Atheism exists, otherwise there would be no atheists. Your argument is nonsense.
Also: Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.
“Proofs are great, and evidence is great.”
Keep in mind that YOU said that.
“absence of evidence for Atheism is also evidence of absence of Atheism. ”
I’m an atheist. That’s evidence of atheism.
I think you mean the condition of the universe being godless, that’s lacking evidence. But that’s not atheism. That’s the generally understood opinion of atheists.
Like, You believe in (i assume) Jehovah.
That’s evidence of theism, but it’s not evidence of Jehovah.
My Aunt is wiccan, that’s ALSO evidence of theism, but not evidence of the Lord and Lady.
But for the argument you’re TRYING to make (i think), I have never claimed to be convinced in my atheism. It’s just that none, absolutely none of the evidence offered to me for any deity has made me think they exist. At some point my mind stopped expecting there to be evidence in my search for the divine.
Confused?
