“learning to survive requires intelligence.”
If that were true, I wouldn’t have to worry about my bread molding on the counter. I’d just have to watch for when the bacteria discovered fire and spray the area the smoke’s coming from.
“A person who is a "vegetable" doesn't possess inteligence.”
Two ’Ls’ in ‘intelligence.’
“They do not posses the ability to survive.”
We’re social animals at the tail end of a couple billion years of evolution. Most humans cannot survive without the help of others. Drop most of humanity in the Amazon, most of them will be eaten. But no one’s claiming humans are the common ancestor to humans, fish, bacteria, oak trees, and Donald Trump.
“A respiratior can make them breathe, they can be fed by an IV. but they no longer posses the intelligence to survive.”
Oh! You got intelligence right on the second try! Good for you! Now, look up respirator? And possess?
"So left alone, they'd die.”
Just like most of humanity.
“ Same with that immaginary first lifeform.”
Small problem with your analogy, here. For a lifeform to die, it has to be alive, first. So, by this logic, you’ve accepted abiogenesis, and think you’ve disproven evolution because of things no one is actually claiming.
