Heavy Metal Artists etc DEFINTLEY have been or are possesed. Many of them summon demons on stage in their songs. Even rappers have said they sold their soul to the devil and "something" has come into them and controls their actions etc. It's no doubt around us everywhere.

There was no goddamn Black Metal Inner Circle.
"First of all the so-called Black Circle was something Euronymous made up because he wanted to make people believe there was such a thing, but it was nonsense and never existed. The media on the other hand believed it existed for a while, but quickly stopped talking about it when they understood it was a fake rumour." - Varg Vikernes
There are a few true devil worshippers in the heavy metal scene - King Diamond and the lead singer of Dimmu Borgir (forgot his name) are two I can think of off the top of my head - but not many. Most of them really do just do it for show, as all sane people are aware.
And none of them go around sacrificing cats. Except Euronymous. But he was an idiot.
Just two clarifications. This fashion of demon possesion is taken out of context from the NT. It was usual at the time to associate certain mental illnesses such as squizofrenia, paranoia or epilepsy with that, because people didn´t know at the time WHAT THE HELL WAS HAPPENING. So, those theories that homosexuals are demon-possesed,...........are just pure ignorance. Second, they don´t summon demons on stage(never been to a concert.......jeje)and the rappers use selling something..........it´s an idiom, NOT TO BE TAKEN LITERALLY(same with heavy metal)
@Goetian
There was something of a "Black Metal Inner Circle" around that time period, but it had little to do with any ideology. Just the usual incestuous scene that happens when a new style springs up in one area. A similar thing happened with melodic death metal in Gothenburg and sludge metal in New Orleans.
That aside, while there's damn few religious satanists in metal (outside of the NED bands at least), LaVey-type satanists are pretty common. I doubt the average fundie can tell the difference.

That must be quite the trick.
"I am the one, Orgasmatron, the outstretched grasping hand
My image is of agony, my servants rape the land
Obsequious and arrogant, clandestine and vain
Two thousand years of misery, of torture in my name
Hypocrisy made paramount, paranoia the law
My name is called religion, sadistic, sacred whore.
I twist the truth, I rule the world, my crown is called deceit
I am the emperor of lies, you grovel at my feet
I rob you and I slaughter you, your downfall is my gain
And still you play the sycophant and revel in your pain
And all my promises are lies, all my love is hate
I am the politician, and I decide your fate
I march before a martyred world, an army for the fight
I speak of great heroic days, of victory and might
I hold a banner drenched in blood, I urge you to be brave
I lead you to your destiny, I lead you to your grave
Your bones will build my palaces, your eyes will stud my crown
For I am Mars, the god of war, and I will cut you down."
Now THATS fucking metal. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Man, I'm writing Rob Zombie tonight and telling him he ripped me the eff off. I've been to two of his shows and he hasn't conjured up a demon in either of them. What a rip. I mean, if anyone should be able to get one of those bad boys on the line, you'd think it'd be Rob.
A.) Metal music is not stupid and senseless, and if you think so, you haven't listened to much of it.
B.) Metal bands do not summon demons on stage. I know, as I'm dating one. If he had that particular trick, I can assure you that I would know about it.

Okay, pyrotechnics are not demons.
" 'something' has come into them and controls their actions etc."
Well, this sounds familiar. Except some like you would say it's Jesus. But Satan's a liar, right?
No, heavy metal with all its leather, dark imagery, and fascination with the occult is a SCHTICK! It's a GIMMICK! It's a marketing position that easily exploits young minds to buy a gazillion records. That's ALL it is. No demons or possessions.
Besides, Satan works through new age music. Just hearing a small sound bite of Yanni or John Tesh gives me the willies.
Yeah... so... you know... Black Sabbath... when they just said they were playing around with occult symbols because they noticed the huge popularity of horror movies and they really didn't at all believe in devil worshipping or anything like that... they were lying and obfuscating their real purpose? And I guess Kirk Franklin is a heathen for incorporating rap into his gospel recordings. Oh, and dc Talk aren't really Christian rock musicians but rather Ebil Debil Worshippers in disguse, huh? After all, "Jesus Freak" was authentic gritty rock for its mid '90s release.
The demons you can summon at metal concerts will be deafened by the music and crowd. They may look cool but giving them any sorts of commands is next to impossiable.
"I want you to make the next Star Trek movie good"
"WHAT!"
"The next star trek has to be good"
"BEG PARDON?"
"The next trek has to be good"
"THE NEXT TRACK HAS TO BE GOOD?"
"Yes! The next trek!"
"I OBEY MASTER"
This incidentaly explains a lot about both metal and Star Trek.
You know, I think there is an "unclean spirit" of stupidity, that just grips and shakes the shit out of fundies until they are mindless drones. Either that, or they stuck a fork in the light socket too many times when they were kids. Probably not predisposed to be smart anyway.
Which is odd, because when you actually talk to heavy metal musicians offstage, Marilyn Manson for example, they are the nicest people on the freaking planet.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
