We were never ever ordained to be a "democracy",but a "republic" in the vision of our founding fathers.."democratic process"..is code for socialism, which is code for communism..which is code for anarchy and which is code for a nation ruled by an elitist dictatorship under such as an emporer, king..where citizens do not have a vote or say in their rights to anything..
In a republic the leadership works for the people and the people run the government with their vote..so the obvious tact that was forseen, planned and pursued..formulated as far back as the 1950's which was to gain control of the votes..and capitalism was the path set down to achieve this purpose, not liberalism..all that remained was indoctrination to the acceptance of such a mentality that would embrace this abdication of rights..and it began with the objective to pursue the corruption of what is right and what a right is by dismembering the responsibility for those rights..as God said all along.."money is the root of all evil"..

Umm...where did you get your political science degree? I mean, no, seriously...cuz I have mine, and I know you're full of crap.
I can't be arsed to correct you on the actual definitions of democracy, republic, socialism, communism, dictatorship, capitalism and liberalsim.
That's not just a slippery slope, it's a slippery loop-de-loop! Between that and the complete redefinition of terms to mean things 180 degrees off from what they really mean, this is one artful piece of pure nonsense.

so capitalism was set down as the method by which democracy would turn into communism? It seems that Amazedgrace not only needs help with their political science studies, but also with the economics side of things.
I won't even go into how little sense the equating of anarcy with elitist dictatorships makes.
O_o So, let me get this straight.
Democracy is the same as socialism (which is changing from the social axis to the economic axis), which is the same as communism (further leftward on the economic axis and tends toward authoritarianism), which is the same as anarchy (which is the complete opposite of authoritarianism), which is the same as a dictatorship (switching back to authoritarianism).
*brain explodes*
"'democratic process'..is code for socialism," You're a moron. "which is code for communism.." the two are related, but hardly the same thing "which is code for anarchy" You're insane. "and which is code for a nation ruled by an elitist dictatorship" You're batshit fucking crazy. Your logic train didn't just derail, it jumped 3 states.
Apparently, democracy is the same as almost every other known form of government, and she doesn't like any of them. Well, she may think some theocratic republic would suit her.
I'm frequently amused by those who complain about "elitists." They seem to always be the lowest level thinkers; poorly educated and not very bright.
"Abdication of rights" you mean like the "patriot act?"
"The corruption of what is right" -- which I guess you assume you and your Fundie pals should be allowed to establish?
Before the RR people get worked up and their heads start exploding, maybe they should consider that Agape Press is a questionable news source.
Of course there were people who would post something like that, and they've all been banned.

Just another shining example of what extraordinary lengths the fundie retards will go to attempt to explain the unexplanable. By that I mean their religion, not world politics. But this is also a sad commentary on the depths to which the intelligence and fundamental (not fundie) knowledge base has sunk. As others have already alluded to in this thread, for anyone to say all these forms of government are on par with one another is just the height of sheer stupidity.
<<< We were never ever ordained to be a "democracy",but a "republic" in the vision of our founding fathers. >>>
The only difference between the two is whether everyone votes on every little thing or whether they choose someone else to deal with that.
<<< "democratic process"..is code for socialism >>>
Not unless everyone votes for socialism. Don't think you have too much to worry about there.
<<< which is code for communism >>>
Scary thing is that that is the closest you come to making sense in that first paragraph.
<<< which is code for anarchy >>>
Ah, one of the most repressive forms of government of all time is actually code for no government at all. Brilliant!
<<< and which is code for a nation ruled by an elitist dictatorship under such as an emporer, king..where citizens do not have a vote or say in their rights to anything >>>
And then no government at all is code for an oppressive form of government. If you're going to go from oppressive government to no government back to oppressive in your code, why not leave out the middle one entirely? It's like flying from Houston to Atlanta via Burma.
As for the second paragraph, not even the Heimlich could save my parser from choking on it.
Astoundingly ignorant. A republic is not truly a republic unless its leaders are elected by the people (did I just betray my own ignorance then? It is what I remember reading as a matter of definition). More to the point, isn't an elitist dictatorship under a certain king christianity's ideal government?

Communism is left and tends towards authoritarianism? I think you're thinking of Stalinism or Leninism (which is actually close to Social Democracy on the political spectrum).
Communism is practically the same as anarchy (go to Wikipedia and read the definition of both) even though they may advocate different methods (keep in mind there are many kinds of communists and anarchists). Both (except for Stalinism) advocate direct democracy.

'Communist government' is an oxymoron term made up by capitalists in the West during the Cold War.
If you look at the list of bloodiest dictatorships in the world (death by population size, not by sheer body count), only 2 goverments on the top 25 list are socialist. Stalinist Russia and Cambodia under Pol Pot, both of whom are an anathema to many socialists and communists alike.
Early Western capitalist goverments such as the ones under Napoleon, Napoleon III, Otto von Bismarck, Gisiuppe Garibaldi and Oliver Cromwell were just as bloody and repressive as some socialist goverments of the 20th century. Many capitalist regimes in second and third world countries during the Cold War amassed graves in the millions with disastrous corporate policies and anti-communist purges.
...which is code for plutocracy, which is code for feudalism, which is code for timocracy, which is code for anocracy, which is, itself, code for democracy!
And the line is "the LOVE of money is the root of MANY KINDS of evil". It's like they don't even read their own holy book.
Firstly, it's love of money. Secondly, you made more jumps in logic than twelve lesser fundies combined. Thirdly, nothing has done more to corrupt was is seen as right than religion.
"We were never ever ordained to be a 'democracy',but a 'republic' in the vision of our founding fathers."
- So why is it that when the judiciary or legislative branches of a state government decide that same-sex marriage can be legally recognized, your lot always screams "Let we the people decide!"
"'democratic process'..is code for socialism, which is code for communism..which is code for anarchy and which is code for a nation ruled by an elitist dictatorship under such as an emporer, king"
- You have no idea what any of those words mean, do you?
Confused?
