Are we crazy? Have we gone off the deep end? We have such passion in our voices and express truths of His soon return. Yet some christians seem to be so blind. Just the other day I was talking with a friend and he said to me, "you know I will listen to you, but I am just not interested in it". He said he does not want to know and that it scares him. I am in total bewilderment!

Maybe he's not as evil as you. Maybe he has a real religion of his own.
You don't really have a religion. You are a "born again" death cultist, therefore you are wicked and cruel. And you get to betray jesus at the same time!
Yes, your disease is a scary one and while he'll help you vent your problems he wants nothing to do with your psychosis. I know it's strange, but most people get a little annoyed with death cult members.
Matthew 24:36
"But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only"
Why the hell is this so freaking hard to understand?
"Are we crazy? Have we gone off the deep end? We have such passion in our voices and express truths of His soon return."
Yes you are. Yes you have. Yes you do. As far I am concerned, this all that Jec said. Everything else was just an attempt to prove the first three points.
Your friend is much more tolerant of human stupidity than you could ever be.
Yes, I'm saying he's/she's the better Christian.
"Have we gone off the deep end? We have such passion in our voices and express truths of His soon return."
How about you take that passion, use it to live like Jesus actually taught you?

The Rapture is an event where Jesus will appear on Earth, and those who accepted Him into their hearts will be taken to heaven. It comes from the book of Revelations, which describes the Christian end of the world. There's a couple problems with it.
1.) Supposedly only 144,000 people will be taken, a reference to the 12 tribes of Israel.
2.) Jesus Himself said "no one but the Father knows the time or place". Christians aren't supposed to be worried about the end of the world (or their death) as they will happen when God says so.
3.) The BoR was written during the time of the Roman persecution of Christians, and thus, if you read the book within that context, it contains a lot of symbols referencing people, places, and times. The book was written to give hope to those who were being killed, telling them that it will be alright soon.

Ooh, you're so close. Now go talk to a Doctor and get some meds, and you'll be all set. And I'm really amazed your friend was that polite, must be a really good friend. Although I doubt he said that it scares him. Maybe your rantings scare him? Maybe he wants you to seek help?
Don't let 'em tease you, Jec. Jesus is coming soon. Very, very soon. I'd even go so far as saying very, very, very soon. S-o-o-n! S-O-O-N! So just you be patient a little while longer. Just a little while. Now you run over there and play in the sandbox with your friends.

They've been saying the same crap for what, over a century now? They are cowards who support destructive policies (war, not caring for the environment, etc.)in the hopes that Jesus will return and rescue them before the shit REALLY hits the fan, then they'll have a gigantic VIP box from which they can watch the rest of us suffer through nuclear war, famine, meteor strikes, plagues and wild animal attacks, things like that. This is the kind of shit they fantasize about day in and day out, but that's cool cause they're so "holy". But if you think of a member of the opposite sex (or not, of course) without their clothes on, then you're a filthy-minded sinner. They pray every day for billions of people to die in very nasty ways, but atheists/agnostics are the ones who are "without natural affection" because we think a woman should be able to get an abortion if she needs one. Really twisted.
“Are we crazy?”
Yes. Obviously.
“Have we gone off the deep end?”
Completely.
“We have such passion in our voices and express truths of His soon return.”
Yeah, like that. You CALLING your shared delusions ‘truths’ doesn’t make them accurate.
“Yet some christians seem to be so blind.”
You mean the sane people making their way through the world…?
“Just the other day I was talking with a friend and he said to me, "you know I will listen to you, but I am just not interested in it". He said he does not want to know and that it scares him. I am in total bewilderment!”
Dude, y’all have been promising this since about the year 34. It gets old.
Confused?
