[Fstdt and it's members.]
I'm not sure which board you are referring to. That point is irrelevant, because all such boards are equal. Poor taste and vulgarity seem to be the characteristics required to be a "popular" poster among their members. Spewing ignorant opinions about things not understood and fabricating disgusting scenarios about people they don't know appear to be their favorite pass-times. When I visit such message boards I always leave with mixed feelings of sadness and disgust. But for the grace of God I would fit in with those who post on them. I thank God He is true to His Word and regenerates fallen man.

The sad thing is, I suspect many of the posters here understand the Bible better than the folks at T4C.
I also can't help but want to giggle at the air of elitism this lady is conveying. "But for the grace of God I would have to hang out with these miscreants!" I always thought pride was something Christians were supposed to try and avoid.
Fucking poor taste and vulgarity? I'd say up yours, but you probably do that too often anyway.
I believe that's both pastimes - yes, Mrs Lace, that's how you spell pastimes - you mentioned.
Actually, the most 'popular' posters among us are the most well-spoken and educated amongst us.
Papabear is one example; he rarely swears, but he generally has several good points in his posts.
Try it again, this time without spewing ignorant opinions about things you don't understand and fabricating scenarios about people you don't know.

Well that depends on your definition, doesn't it? Personally, I think it's poor taste to gloat about how most people are going to wind up burning in hell. And I've seen quite a lot of vulgarity coming from Christian sites, like this one, when the posters were talking about gay people, liberals, or "immodest" women.

Kind of like when people like you talk about gay people? Because you certainly don't seem to understand anything about that subject, and you delight in making up the worst kinds of scenarios for them. The same for atheists, when you're talking about how they have no morals, and would slaughter everyone given half a chance. So maybe you ought to take a look at yourself, and at your friends, before you start spouting off. After all, isn't there something about sin and throwing stones?
Well, if it is any consolation, I think that it is highly unlikely that you would "fit in with those who post on [fstdt]." It would appear that most people who post on this board are not discussing their hatred of gays, their strong feelings on the "proper" subservience of woman, or their confidence that they alone are among the privileged few to be "saved".
No doubt the broad range of opinions would be disconcerting for someone who spends much of her time in a cave.
I pity you.
...fabricating disgusting scenarios about people they don't know appear to be their favorite pass-times.
Oh, you mean like insisting that Liberals eat the babies they abort (forcibly, of course, without the mother's consent), throw rocks at anyone wearing a crucifix, rape, steal and kill with wanton abandon, among other such things? You guys never, EVER do such things, do you...?
I can only assume that you have said some ridiculous things, things worthy of mockery. Glad to be of service, Mrs. Lace. After all, don't you suddenly feel like you are a more worthy Christian when we oppress you with mockery? It's a win-win situation, because we enjoy it too.
“Poor taste and vulgarity seem to be the characteristics required to be a "popular" poster among their members.”
Aw, you don’t approve.
“Spewing ignorant opinions about things not understood and fabricating disgusting scenarios about people they don't know appear to be their favorite pass-times.”
That would also describe about 60% of the posts hosted here.
“When I visit such message boards I always leave with mixed feelings of sadness and disgust.”
An upcheck for the day.
“But for the grace of God I would fit in with those who post on them.”
And if there is no god, then we can chant ‘one of us’ like the freaks did…
“I thank God He is true to His Word and regenerates fallen man.”
No, you just stick your nose n the air and pretend you’re superior.
Confused?
