Which makes one wonder why $cientologists loathe & detest psychologists that much, if the 'Scient' in $cientology, is a pairing of the Latin word scientia ("knowledge", "skill"), which comes from the verb scire ("to know")*.
...oh yes, that's right. Because psychologists rob people of their money in return for their wordy 'snake oil', whereas $cientology does it's Auditing & removal of peoples' Body Thetans & ultimately guiding it's OT's across the 'Bridge to Total Freedom' for free, amirite David Miscavige? After all:

(Actually, they know psychology works. And that's the problem - for them, at least. Because psychologists actually rob $cientology of the course/Auditing money from potential Pre-Clears/OTs, i.e. 'Wogs' (non-$cientologists). Thus the real reason for their hatred of psychology)
