You are the Professer. In your knowledge of the hand/biology/medicine what is a specific gain from an evolutionary premise that has progressed the hand medicine.
Of coarse I think there has been nothing and evolution has just hitched a ride on actual biologists achievments.

Oddly, the hand medicine thing makes something akin to sense, in context. The scary bit is how he keeps repeating that science is invalid if it builds on other ideas.
Who was it that said "If I have seen farther it is by standing on the shoulders of giants"? Oh, right, that obscure Newton guy.
More unintelligible bollocks from Byers.
He talks of 'evolution' as if it is some form of sentient being.
Byers - biology is more or less grounded in the theory of evolution. If you can't accept that, you are even more of a stupid cunt than I originally took you for.
"If I have seen farther it is by standing on the shoulders of giants."
It was an insult directed at Gottfried Wilhelm Leibnitz who was quite short and with whom he had an ongoing feud over the development of Calculus.
Of course this says nothing about this guy's world view that nothing is worthwhile unless it came from nothing like god, the world, animals, light, his reasoning...
I think he means, "how has the theory of evolution helped make any develpoments in hand medicine?". I say anti-biotic resistance, wait for his confused reaction, sigh, and break out the sock puppets,
@JonnyTruant: I thought it was aimed at hooke?
The Spelling-and-Grammar Nazi in me is wanting to send Byers to the typo-showers.
I honestly have no idea what he's talking about; all I can gather from his rambling is that he has no idea what evolution is, or how it pertains to biology.
You never heard of HAND MEDICINE? What do you think happens when a hand gets sick or injured? Hear's a clue - its not foot medicine happening.
And you people act like you're all smart and stuff....
Seriously, have you morans ever heard of other stuff - like MATH? OR READING?
"In your knowledge of the hand/biology/medicine what is a specific gain from an evolutionary premise that has progressed the hand medicine."
Could he mean 'beyond medicine'? Besides, he ends a question with a period, which makes the whole statement barely understandable.
Methinks Robert failed Remedial English. Repeatedly.
