There are scientists currently challenging some of einsteins theories of relativity, talking about a variable speed of light and so on, will this mean he will fall into the same realm as [Kent] Hovind then?

I STRONGLY doubt it. Y'see, Einsteins theories are based on observation, was actually credible at the point of writing, and still is the standing theory on how the world works. Hovind is a fraud, and the only even general trait the two share is that they are both humans and male.
Sure, Einstein/Hovind, I can see the correlation there.
And Mozart. Just like Wild Man Fisher.
These would be the scientists investigating the singularity theory. Einsteins work never entered that area of thought or made any definant statements towards it. Einstein himself knew and encouraged further study into areas of physics that were new when he was old.
Kent Hovinds an uneducated and dishonest charlatan. There's no comparision that can be made from the years of productive, proven scientific knowledge that was Einstein and the bullshitting, ridiculous storytelling of Hovind.
Remember, not one creationist has disproved even one scientific premise due mainly to most of them not understanding science themselves. Hovind ignores the Sun in his "theories" and you'd think that'd be hard to miss,,,but he did!
“There are scientists currently challenging some of einsteins theories of relativity,”
Okay.
“talking about a variable speed of light and so on,”
Well, if they are successful, that will overturn most of what we think we know about physics in this universe.
But when you say ‘challenging,’ do you mean like doing the math and the grunt work to develop their side, or more like creationists, just rejecting the mainstream conclusions?
“ will this mean he will fall into the same realm as [Kent] Hovind then?”
No. No matter how different Physics turns out to be 100 years from now, Einstein had an actual education in his field. He did the actual work to research is theories and faced up to peer review.
Hovind’s ‘degree’ is in education, not science. His doctoral dissertation has a title that doesn’t show up anywhere in the dissertation.
He claims to have been a science teacher but that’s based on home-schooling his kid. He’s insanely ignorant about science, both the field and specific theories.
Confused?
