[answering the question "is jazz bad?"]
Jazz has it's roots in voodoo worship. So, yes.

Does it even matter? I listen to some jazz on occasion, but I don't think a thing about voodoo. One has nothing to do with the other in my mind, and I don't give a crap if there's a connection somewhere in history. There isn't one now.
Install RefControl (assuming you're using Firefox), and set up a <Force> rule for teens-4-christ.org. Ta-dah! Now it looks like you're coming from his own site. Or set the referrer to 'PWNED'; whichever.
Hey thanks Veinor for that nifty little tool! I'll keep it handy, lol.
I also note that Randy has changed his avatar to a picture of Dilbert.
Which is interesting, because Scott Adams, Dilbert's creator, is a Unitarian, which is about as far away from Randy's religious beliefs as you can get.
Someone on here who posts on t-4-c should point that out to Randy. I'd love to see his response.
Someone doesn't have the slightest clue about jazz.
(Although I will agree that freeform jazz is Satanic. Only Satan could come up with the concept of sitting and listening to stoned musicians making up random riffs for hours in a darkend club where a beer costs 10 bucks. If that's not Satanic, nothing is.)
I think it's sad that Randy is so mean to these kids. I mean, the question that was posed was:
"Subj: Is jazz bad?
I was in jazz band throughout high school, and played some really fun tunes, but I was wondering what you folks thought about it."
The poster sounds so innocent and happy about his jazz-playing and then Randy comes along and tells him he was practicing voodoo. WTG Randy
The music Bro. Randy likes has its roots in Monk chant music, which was Catholic and therefore, according to Chick, has its roots in some sort of satanic music from Nimrod.
Besides, jazz is yiffeh. If you look far enough back, almost everything has its roots in sometihng ebil and satanic ZOMG. ....
Oh, and by the way, jazz also came from blues (which was "not too smutty "), which had its roots in slave spirituals.
But maybe Randeh's trying to say slave spirituals came form voodoo. Said spirituals are also where gospel came from, and besides, most slaves were forced to convert to Christianity. Most also tended to come from Muslim parts of Africa...
Wow, Randy's actually proud that he got "Fundie of the Year." Check his (well, Imasaved1's, but we all know who that is) sig. Guess he figures it to be a testament to his faith, as opposed to his stupidity and ignorance.
Hey Randy? This isn't helping.
Bro Randy....
I's on ur website, stealin' ur teenz...
I's in ur bible, changin' ur wordz...
I's in ur heaven, hearin' ur prayerz - eccch!
I's in ur closet, taking a dump in ur sandalz. Itz Godz will.
And did you know, good sir, that in Soviet Russia, jazz was also declared evil and subversive? Stick THAT in your conservative pipe and smoke it.
Just as jazz may have it's roots as such, Paul (or Saul, whichever you may accept) had his roots in stoning Christians. If people can change, then so can the things they make.
Is contemporary christian music bad?
Contemporary christian has its roots in christian worship. So, yes.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
