Does it matter, really? Also, let's use Centigrade; ya know, the easy one, where freezing is 0 and boiling is 100...
What about the supposed "Christians" that all failed to help the poor, cure the sick, visit the prisoners, feed the hungry?
In short, all the things that Jesus TOLD YOU TO DO, EXPLICITLY, in the Bible.
I have helped the poor and fed the hungry, by donating to Romani beggars, to the Red Cross, to the Swedish Church, to UNHCR. For Father's day and Mother's day I usually buy stuff from non-profit organizations' homepages, like assisting to drill a well, or blankets and vaccinations, or pencils and notebooks for kids in Africa (my dad was a teacher for future kindergarten teachers; he really likes that one). I've helped cure the sick by donating to Doctors Without Borders. I've, sort of, visited the prisoners by assisting Amnesty, and by hubby donating to Amnesty.
I'd guess I need to be much less anxious than all those GOP geezers, and the "Prosperity Gospel" greedy bastards...
If it is the NT Jesus standing there, assessing our deeds, and Joel Osteen comes up to him, confident and smug; Jesus asks him "well, what have you done to help people?", and Osteen says "Oh, I have fleeced the flock good and proper, I have several yachts and two airplanes, and a really, really big house - I mean church." Wouldn't he be surprised if Jesus said "Didn't you hear me; HOW HAVE YOU HELPED PEOPLE?", and Osteen just said "mumble, mumble", and Jesus said "Off to the dark and cold place with you, you bad person"?
