From Pokemon card games where winners get possessed by the losers powers, to Harry Potter cutesying up magik and witchcraft, then the numerous show marked 'kid friendly' that is nothing but witches warlocks, vampires and demons, well, it really does make you wonder why parents don't seem to grasp the connection.

If you consider Pokemon, Harry Potter, and Halloween "occult," then I bet the percentage is a hell of a lot higher than 75%...

My 10 year old likes Potter and Pokemon AND routinely murders other 10 year olds over XBox Live in Halo 2. Yet somehow he also manages to remain a kind-hearted, empathetic child who is tender with smaller kids and animals, not to mention the math whiz of the 4th grade gifted and talented program.

Hey, dipshit: My friends and I don't do magick. If you actually knew teenagers, you'd know that. Pokemon card games are pretty "out" anyway, if you follow that sort of thing.
Listen carefully. Magic does not exist . Aside from the total lack of scientific evidence despite countless experiments, a better argument would be to ask why, if magic existed, is anyone wasting their time trying to do things the hard way, like developing nuclear fusion or vaccines?

I also read recently that although premarital sex among abstinence-educated teenagers is down, oral and anal sex are way up! Maybe there's some causal link between this and all the terrible 'kid friendly' occult. Isn't 'Pokemon' japanese for "please please please pastor violate me anally"?
And just what would these "occult activities" be, anyway? I could easily imagine playing with a piece of plastic and a piece of cardboard out of a box marked Ouija Board maybe wearing some chintzy necklace granting the wearer wiccan-ness . . . or perhaps some shit with candles. . . . Am I forgetting anything?
Apparently this person understands nothing of which he speaks. Pokemon is childish, amusing, and slightly addictive, although I kind of quit it after it completely exploded.
It's strange how I never got possessed by my brother's 'powers' whenever I beat him in the Pokemon card game. Maybe I was just lucky.
There's actually a pokemon called "Fundieowth".
It's completely impervious to all poison and mental attacks (including logic), but unfortunately it never evolves.
I wonder why fundies would attack Pokemon a lot more then Yugioh?
All I see that fundies would complain about Pokemon is the mentioning of evolution.
Yugioh in "fundie-vision" on the other hand consist of pagan gods, outright disrespect to authority figures, cries for unnecessary revenge for trivial reasons, and children possessed by spirits which is portrayed as a GOOD thing.
Hmmmm...maybe brainwashed 4kids fans hating the crappy spin-off had something to do with it.
