Because he is a minion of Satan. Our country is going to be at war. The Christian values of this country is going down the drain. God's wrath will be upon us.
All we can do is to pray that God spares us our mistake!
At least in Texas we all voted for McCain, so I am sure God will show mercy on Texans.

I know a guy who lives in Texas who voted for Obama. You fail.
I HATE it when people say "everyone did this" or "no one did that." If even ONE person did the opposite, YOU CAN'T SAY "EVERYONE" OR "NO ONE". GAAHH. /rant
Our country is going to be at war
OMG, not a war! You can't be serious!
The Christian values of this country is going down the drain
Haha, the homeskoolin moovemints is going down the drain too.
All we can do is to pray that God spares us our mistake!
Your agonizer, please.
At least in Texas we all voted for McCain, so I am sure God will show mercy on Texans.
But all His ex's live in Texas.
"Because he is a minion of Satan. Our country is going to be at war."
You're 7 years late on posting that dumbass.
"The Christian values of this country is going down the drain."
Like stoning a 13 year old to death? (read post below this one)
"All we can do is to pray that God spares us our mistake!"
Or DIAF for gits and shiggles.

Can we seriously give texas back to mexico? That state is an embarassment to humanity.
@Malkavian Jeff
Not all of Texas is an embarassment. You should visit Austin or Dallas.
Many of the nations large companies are headquartered in Dallas.
However, Texas is big, very very big. Go outside the big cities and you will find some worthless humanity.
I'm Texan, I voted Obama.
@Malkavian Jeff: Not all of Texas is bad. Not even all of the right-wing Texans are bad (though they are likely misinformed). People in the rural areas tend to be strongly right-wing because they don't like high taxes and government intervention, but in a way, that's fair - they get a lot less benefit from government spending.

Can you please convince them to vote Libertarian, then, instead of Republican? You don't have to trample on abortion rights and kowtow to religious extremists just to get your tax-and-regulations load reduced, ya know.
Wasn't American Atheists started in Austin? Seriously, every last Texan voted for McCain?
I guess all those people who voted for Obama weren't REAL Texans.
@tracer: I've known people who are more-or-less libertarians but vote Republican because they don't think libertarians have a chance of winning.
And I don't think being anti-abortion makes you automatically fundie or a bad person.
I was born in Texas, lived here all my life, and I voted for Obama, so BoJ is completely full of shit....but then again I think we all realize that.
@tracer: even the Libertarians have to kowtow, to a certain degree, to the religious right in TX(Ron Paul's co-signing HB 888 comes to mind).....It seems Texas Libertarians are just conservatives that want the right to smoke weed....
Remember in 2001 when God got so pissed off at homosexuals and abortionists that he blew up office buildings in New York?
Remember when he sent hurricane Katrina after the homos in New Orleans and missed them?
All I'm saying is that you might not be safe in Texas. God has bad aim.
I live in Texas and I voted for Obama.
Oh wait, wait, I know. Some parts of Texas are more real than other parts AMIRITE?
Why are so many people on this website apparently from Texas? And also so many atheists elsewhere on the interwebs from the Lone Star state? It's surprising, honestly. But, I guess it is only surprising when one's only knowledge of a state is limited to a little animated documentary known as King of the Hill rather than, you know, actual information.
@Allegory for Jesus: Texas has 24 million people living in it, along with two of the nation's largest cities. It's not really that remarkable. :)
@Thinking Allowed: The Bush Family isn't from Texas. They're from Connecticut. The ranch in Crawford serves both as a tax writeoff and a loophole (our constitution states that you have to be a state resident to qualify for the gubernatorial race).
First of all, from all of us in Dallas county, fuck you.
Also, little late on the 'at war' part.
dg: "And I don't think being anti-abortion makes you automatically fundie or a bad person."
Agreed. It's being anti-choice that automatically makes one a fundie and a bad person.
(Ain't nothing wrong with being personally opposed to abortion, as long as you don't try to impose your personal choice on other people.)
I'd hate to break it to you, but we've been at war for a few years now. Maybe you forgot about Afghanistan and Iraq, I don't know, but you might want to look into that.
As for all of texas voting for McCain, you must live under a rock to think that everyone out there thinks the same way that you do.
Texas wasn't even the state with the biggest McCain margin.
And by that logic, God should be targetting Hawaii first since they voted 73% Obama.
@Jezebel's Evil Sister: Even if it is wrong to oppose abortion rights, holding one wrong position doesn't make one fundamentally a bad person. I've known many very kind people who were staunchly pro-life (most of the vocal ones female, oddly).
I am sure God will show mercy on Texans.

...And in breaking news today, America was destroyed by a large meteor that had "OMG" inscribed on it. Surprisingly, it had a Texas-shaped hole, leaving the state intact.
Bride of Jesus -- we RE-elected Rick "Pretty Hair" Perry, and we ended up with Hurricane Ike!
With Texas voting for McCain, I'm afraid we're going to end up with a Carla (1961), a Beulah (1967), an Allen (1980) or a Camille (1969)!
Can't you Republicans stop when you've already lost?
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
