Some celebrate it like its some major victory over Christians or Christianity. It's getting really dark in this country.

Good question. So if God doesn't do anything about it, is Anthony finally going to shut up and think maybe God doesn't really worry about this as much as Anthony does? What has He done in Massachusetts, Connecticut, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Spain and South Africa? He's had over eight years.
Of course, the RR crowd has been waiting 2,000 years for the Rapture and saying "any day now ...", so I suppose if some disaster happens in Spain in 2185 they'll say "see! I told you so!"

Or maybe it's because they are celebrating a victory over narrow mindedness and bigotry. Maybe they are celebrating because they have recieved rights that people like yourself wish to deny them. Despite what you may want to believe the world does not revolve around christianity, people don't sit around calculating what move to make to harm christianity most. You, your fellow christians, your church, and your "god" simply aren't that important.
This has nothing to do with God. This ruling has nothing to do with any church. It entitles people to a civil marriage license. As long as we have the First Amendment, their churches will not be required to marry a gay couple.
How about the government just get out of the marriage business all together? People could register a domestic partnership for legal benefits and if they want to be married, they can go to their church.
Actually, it has more to do with NOT wanting to slap homosexuals in the face with unjust gay marriage bans.
And I agree with the others: If the Abrahamic god of the old testament was real, and I highly doubt that he is, I would love to smack him for all of the horrific atrocities he's reported to have carried out.
