I believe atheists are taking a huge risk on their lives, eternity is a long time to be separated from God in hell. They say they do not believe in such things, but what we believe does not matter, it matters if what we believe is true. Atheists no deep down that God exists because otherwise they wouldn't be afraid of death and would not attack people of different faiths. I do believe the alien phenomenon is real but I believe it is demons is disguise and it will be a fake alien invasion by these fallen angels in the end times as revelation talks about.

What you describe are "facts" which form the basis of mankind's knowledge. Facts are proven by peer review, are indisputable and repeatable when tested.

The basis of religion is "faith" which is belief in something with no proof or confirmation in doing so. Since there is no scientific test for God that exists, all you have in religion is faith. Please learn the difference.

So what you're saying is that it that God only cares if you happen to be right, not if you're sincere and honest? I guess that's why Christians have always loved Pascal's Wager; no need to honestly assess your beliefs, just say you believe in Jesus as an insurance policy.

Should this whole Heaven thing turn out to be correct and the fundies are actually right, eternity would also be a long time to be stuck with such people.

Revelation was a coded message to Christians contemporary to its writing urging them to "keep the faith," as it were, because Rome would fall "any day now." At least that's the scholarly, non-fundamentalist, non-crank version that I believe to be the current consensus.

Faith or lack of it has nothing to do with being afraid of death. I have firm beliefs myself about what happens after death that I won't share, because they're unimportant, but I'm still afraid of dying because it's a huge damn deal. Ten minutes after I die, it doesn't matter whether there is something or not because I can't turn around, so what's to fear at that point? It's sort of like being scared of puberty, which is pointless.
On the other hand, I know perfectly well I might not get the peaceful "die in my sleep" option. Pain scares the crap out of me. Suffering before death scares the crap out of me. And I think that feeling is pretty much shared by everyone, everywhere.

And now you - and all your fundie ilk - know why we're Atheists. One word: Trust. As in if someone - who claims to be a trustworthy friend - says they'll meet you at a certain place at a certain time, and if they do, fair enough. If they borrow your car - or a sizeable amount of money - and return/pay back such (intact & perfect condition with the former; if with a little more besides - interest - with the latter, all the better. If, on the other hand, they arrive late - or not at all; and should they return with your car damaged or not at all; or without your money, then you would disown that so-called 'friend', and find a new one.
