As concerns God, we simply know what you are: 'LOST SINNERS' - JUST LIKE 'WE' USED TO BE!. The ONLY difference between you and us (true believers - not CINO's) now is that those of us who have accepted Jesus Christ, been 'Born Again' and have received His forgiveness for our sins are assured eternal life. Everyone has 'free will' . . . you can certainly believe or not believe what you want. Mocking and ridicule is NOT going to change our beliefs either.

Can you explain christianity without going back to one ancient book, a set of stories that wasn't even contemporaneous with Jesus? Can you explain how any of the bible's tall tales can be believed without any evidence at all? If your source is unreliable, then your faith becomes unbelievable.

"Sin" is a concept internal to your delusional religion. "Wrongs, slights, criminal and unethical behaviors, on the other hand, are universal. Why would I, as a somewhat sane and rational person, believe I was off the hook because some dead spook forgave me? The only forgiveness that matters is from the actual persons I have wronged in this life. You are bailing out on your personal responsibility. Feels good, doesn't it chucklehead?

This is not a basic statement of Christian belief. This is a statement of fundamentalist belief, i.e. that your sins are forever cleansed by being 'born again.' Catholics, for example, do not believe in being 'born again' in the way the OP means it, and they believe that good works have an effect on salvation.
1- (*Whips out pocket GPS *) It's impossible for me to be lost. Also, Rainbows don't physically exist, yet they can be seen . Thus the whole concept of the so-called 'Spiritual'/'Supernatural' is destroyed.
2- Your 'God', re. Abraham & Isaac: he LIED. Putting in the family way Joseph's betrothed, Mary? Adultery. Putting in the family way Mary, an underage child bride? Paedophilia via Statutory Rape, as per modern secular Rule of Law. Hosea 13:16. Those Samaritan unborn had done nothing to your 'God' at that time, to warrant their terminations: thus your 'God' is a Murderer. Also, an Abortionist. Therefore he is a worse -than Sinner, ergo 'Sin' doesn't exist.
3- Jonathan Edwards. A long -time Born Again Christian; probably for longer than you little boy. He effectively has his 'Salvation' cake, and will eat it as an Atheist . Four magic letters: OSAS.
4- Your 'God' hardened pharaoh's heart. He himself - via his 'True' Word - admits there is no such thing as 'Free Will', thus destroying his own doctrines.

I suspect that they are jealous that the rest of us were born perfectly fine the first time round. Meanwhile, their 'God' had made mistakes with them . So much for an 'Infallible' deity, eh?!
There's another 'Mystery' of the Bible solved.
Ah, the easy morality of fundie Christians. All you have to do is accept Jesus and be 'Born Again' and everything will be forgiven.
After all why worry about moral ambiguity or personal responsibility when Jesus will just forgive you.
And if you continue to sin after accepting Jesus- no worries. You've already been born again so Jesus will forgive you.
Why actually bother to think about your actions when you can just be forgiven for them?
Unlike the non-believers who, if they do something wrong must either serve the time, fix what they did or live with the consequences.
